I really like these cabinets so I purchased them multiple times. We like storage around the house but we always had shelves in the past and that made the rooms look junky when stuff can be seen. It was nice to have these modern looking cabinets with closable doors so that all the stuff being stored is hidden. The handles and cabinet are nice and I would have given the product 5 stars except for problems with the packaging. The first problem is that the package weighs 121 pounds. I have ordered multiple times and have seen the delivery people struggle to deliver these packages. A couple of times I saw female drivers struggle and I had to go out and help them. The package is so heavy that, more than once, the delivery person dropped the package onto the ground that resulted in a dent to the package that ended up damaging components of the cabinet. The second dumb thing about the packaging is that there is only foam on 3 sides but the 4th side doesn't have foam. If the delivery person just happens to dent that side, the doors end up getting dented. The third dumb thing is that there is no foam or plastic protecting the components from each other. All the parts are stacked touching each other. As a result, vibration during shipment causes the parts to slide past each other a little which causes scratches. I have purchased 10 of these cabinets (both black and white). I have to tolerate miner dents in about 7 of the cabinets that I've kept. Fortunately, Amazon offers no cost replacements so 1 cabinet was so badly damaged that I had to send it back for a replacement. I may purchase more because I love these so much but I just have to tolerate having to return it if it is damaged. My advice for the company is to split up the cabinet into 2 boxes (60 pounds each) and ship them separately so they are less likely to be damaged. I would also have foam on all sides and also put some plastic between parts so that the plastic would protect the parts from scratching each other. ... show more

I was able to assemble this cabinet in less than an hour with the help of my four-year-old. My four-year-old absolutely made this go slower than it should have so take that as you will. The unit is well made for the price and looks clean. We will be using it for garage storage. As far as the doors go there aren't any issues whatsoever. All of the reviews that talk about gaps between the doors are clearly due to the fact that people did not read the instructions in which it states that the hinges are six way adjustable. My doors also had a 1-inch gap between them when I first assembled it but by looking at page 8 of the instructions it clearly shows you how to easily adjust the doors. In less than 2 minutes I was able to unscrew for screws and get my doors perfectly lined up. I included a picture of this page just to prove to everyone that it doesn't facts tell you how to adjust it and it does in fact work. I know there was someone on here that reviewed these cabinets lower because they've came damaged which I understand but also because she had hired someone to assemble the cabinets and they all had gaps. I hate to say it but the people probably didn't really know what they were doing and didn't take the time to read the instructions and play with it for about two whole minutes to get the doors right. That's just a shame. There are even reminders throughout the instruction manual that they have videos online on how to adjust hinges and product support. I really don't think they could have made it any more idiot-proof but maybe that's just the way that I look at it! If you have this cabinet and your doors have a gap take a look at the picture that I posted with the instruction manual and make a few adjustments and you will be happy. I would give this 5 stars for the money and the construction and the ease of the project however there were some small scratches along the edges of the doors out of the box. I'm a little concerned about how well this will stand up but to be honest it is particle board and I'm sure I could easily touch it up with some paint. If it came with door bumpers so that they didn't make that loud clacking noise when they closed and a little touch up paint I would give this 5 stars. I did use a electric drill just to speed up the process of screwing in the screws and then when I got to the end I hand tighten them to make sure that they weren't over torqued or stripped. I'm a skinny girl with my own toolbox and was able to build this in my kitchen very easily. It will be harder for me to figure out how to get it into the garage then the actual assembly was. The box was in fact very heavy and awkward so be very careful laying it down and trying to open it up. I had zero damage on the corners no broken pieces on all of my Hardware was included including a piece of paper that reminded you to stop and look inside the foam for the extra Hardware. For $150 for a tall clean cabinet I think this is a great value. And I cannot stress enough the need to read the instructions when it comes to the door hardware. They are kind of confusing as are all cabinet door hinges. But the instructions make it very easy to understand to loosen one screw and tighten another and boom your doors go exactly where you want them to go. The reviewers that give this item lower ratings because they were unable to read and follow the instructions is kind of unfair in my opinion. I would say that I am somewhat mechanically inclined however I am a female and a mom and I don't go around building things for a living and I was able to figure this out very easily and quickly. It honestly took me more time to figure out how to get it inside the house from where they delivered it at my front door and how to unpack it without killing myself because it's very heavy than it did to actually assemble the whole thing. ... show more
