PROS: - GREAT quality. When you pull out all of the pieces (and there are a lot), it seems a bit overwhelming, and like the pieces aren't very durable. However, when you put it all together, it is very sturdy, holds more clothing than you would think, and looks more expensive than it was, Lots of wins here! - Clean look. Very pretty, easy to assimilate into any decor, and small enough to fit into corners, closets, tight spaces, etc. I use it in my bedroom in a corner with a window and it fits perfectly! CONS - Time consuming to put together. This isn't really a con though because the othe reviews noted it. The directions are clear, there are just lots of parts to create the piece. I purchased this chest on Oct 4th. It arrived on Oct 10. The UPS man really struggled to get it out of his truck as it weighed 90 pounds. My niece said a loud bang alerted her to the fact that it was being delivered. Still renovating the room it was going in we laid it flat on the living room floor. A week later it was finally time to assemble it. Upon opening the box we found the 2 sides broken in half about a third of the way down. I immediately called the manufacturer. No problem they said and shipped the 2 pieces in question. They were prompt and courteous and very concerned. I was pleased with their service. A week later the new pieces arrived and we got to work immediately assembling for all of 5 minutes. The back of the chest didn't appear broke until we tried to lift it out of the box. It broke completely in two. The break was hidden as it wasn't quite broke all the way through. Oh how frustrating. After a lot of nasty words I called the manufacturer again. I new it wasn't their fault. I still found keeping my cool difficult. But I managed. Once again Prepac was Johnny on the spot and had the part heading my way ASAP. A week later it arrived. Some where between here and there this thing was dropped hard. Well it had to be to break the three largest pieces completely in half. I believe it happened at the my front door. When my niece heard the bang that alerted her to its arrival. Once assembled it was everything I thought it should be. It's very sturdy. Assembly was a little time consuming but relatively easy. The directions could have been a little clearer. Lots of parts with six drawers. It looks very nice in the newly renovated room. A lot smaller foot print making this little 10 x 14 room look larger. There is plenty of room for everything I need to put in it and then some. Would I buy it again? I'd have to think long and hard on it. This experience had made me somewhat wary. My SO was not happy with half of the living room floor cluttered for over a month. I'd have given it 5 stars if it had arrived undamaged. After I've had it awhile I'll let you guys know if it was worth all those nasty words I uttered. ... show more

This is a great dresser to have for small places. Surprisingly it fits a lot of my clothes and looks great. Very sturdy and not too difficult to put together. I bought this to mitigate for using cube bins to hold my clothes, and it really holds quite a bit and is sturdy! If you follow the instructions on assembly, this is a breeze. Granted I started assembly backwards by doing the drawers first, even though that's the last step in assembling! It was really straightforward. You may want a second person to help hold the frame together while assembling, but I was able to do it myself by using my legs as a support while tightening the camlocks to the base. ... show more

Sad. A product from canada with quality of third world manufacturing. I have purchased 4 chairs, coffee table, one large TV stand/cabinet, and two storage cabinets from amazon.com and all required complicated assembly. But all turned out excellent. This piece of junk costing so much more than the rest (from vietnam, and other third world countries) was the worst! No extra cams was included. One of thr drawe side (1 of 12) was misdrilled so the base did not align. Shifting to try to align it damaged the cam. But no extra included like most kits I have bought. The wood dowell was either too long, or the hole for it was too shallow, but once the cam was tightened, punched out the side of the white wall. I took photo for amazon, and they offered to send me another one! No thank you! You could not pay me to assemble another piece of junk. Remember the brand and stay far away! Sad when American and Canadian made means quality. And now the Korean and Vietnamese are making better quality products. Sad ... stay away. Amazon gave me a $30 discount. Now I still have a crappy chest of drawer that doesn't look good from the front and worst from the hole on the side. The photo shows where the dowell punched through. Then two of the cams hole misdrilled, so the base board was jammed and the sides and back does not fit right. So I have one bad drawer. Redrilling can not be done since it is only 1/8 inch off. Cutting new slot on compressed paper board is not worth it. Mis matched drawer front showed varied gaps. Paper pressed front board are difficult to screw the cams in. Bad quality control is the issue here. Human factor is the problem. Some one was in a hurry to get his quota but 1 of 12 side misdrilled is too many, and one dowell cut too long or the hole drilled too shallow caused the broken side. ... show more
