Fantastic chest of drawers, perfect for what I needed! Very heavy and substantial. Excellent quality. Box was so heavy it required 2 people to move it. Took a pretty long time to assemble (about 3-1/2 to 4 hours without using a drill), and the directions weren't as descriptive as they could be, but all in all very well worth it. This is my third purchase from this line of furniture. Overall I think they are good, decent quality for the price. Pretty sturdy as well. They are relatively easy to put together if you’re good at this type of thing. I was able to do it myself in about 2 1/2- 3 hours. I’ve noticed that sometimes the pictures in the manual don’t mirror exactly with what you need to be doing with the build. Just something to note. Also there’s time where things just don’t fit right. Almost like the holes aren’t cut large enough so you really have to force things together. I had one step where I really had to force this piece into another and ended up cracking the wood a little bit bc it just wasn’t fitting. Overall though it’s decent furniture that I think you’d be able to get a few years out of! ... show more

We knew this was going to arrive in a flat box and that it would have to be put together. My adult son is very experienced at doing this. But after he has it halfway put together and starts putting drawers in. We see that the drawers don’t even come close to meeting each other on the top or the bottom, huge gaps! we live in Hawaii so there’s lots of bugs and geckos, and I didn’t want things running in and out of his clothes, not to mention the sticky residue from ocean air. Could’ve gotten one with fabric drawers, much easier and cheaper, but they don’t keep things clean. Tried To return it to Amazon, and of course to get it returned, you have to take it all apart again And try to box re-box! Obviously, we wouldn’t have put it together if we’d known it would be so poorly designed and made out of such shody materials. So you can’t tell that nothing fits until you put it together and then once you put it together, you’re asked to take it all apart again and try to get it back in the box and tape up to get your refund. So my son opted to get a partial refund and then try to buy things to try to fix it. I would have preferred to send back. but it was a lot of work to get it put together and then have to take it apart again, so I guess we are stuck with it,it’s just ridiculous! It’s hard to get anything in Hawaii. I have to wait a long time and when it’s something like this that had to fit in such a small tall but narrow space there weren’t a lot of options, but I expected better than this! One of the most aggravating things about shopping online here and this is true of Amazon and other places, Home Depot, etc. you look and look to try and find something good that you can afford the shipping and that will come at some point and then after you make up your mind and you go to order, that’s when they tell you that it can’t be shipped to Hawaii. They have my address they know where it’s going to. Why doesn’t it say doesn’t ship to Hawaii right in the beginning? Why does it wait until you get clear to the purchase point not just add in the cart but purchase point before they tell you that it can’t be shipped there, very frustrating, Just makes a difficult process that much harder. ... show more
