I LOVE THESE SHORTS. Pockets. They have pockets! And they make your booty look great. I bought nine pairs. I have thick thighs, short torso, no waist, and a round butt. They fit great. (5'1" , 125 lbs) material is soft and stretchy. Get a pattern if you're worried about cellulite showing through en, they are thin, and will show any lumps and bumps if you get a solid color. But honestly these things are great and the price can't be beat. I plan on ordering duplicates in each pattern I like so I have extras because I know I'm wearing these fckin things to death this summer. Get them. I’m so sad because I really really wanted to like these shorts as I’ve been looking for some comfortable, soft, but still cute shorts for chilling and I really thought these would deliver. Opening them and seeing the color was already disappointing. This pair is in the color mocha, and in pictures it looks like it’s a bit like a lighter mauvey and has some pinky tones. Buuut they’re pretty much brown. As other reviewers have mentioned, these shorts are NOT for us girlies with no shape. The pockets are a lot bigger than I had expected, so they add extra weight and dimension where I do not need it. Then there’s nothing in the back to compensate so it’s like you look super puffy in the front and simply flat in the back. It’s so unflattering. On top of that, the cameltoe seems like it’s UNAVOIDABLE because of the seam in the front and the ruching in the thighs, especially when you roll the band down a little. It seems like the only way I could make these work is if I was constantly adjusting them and posed in the right angle at all times, so not worth. I’m extremely jealous of the girls that are able to pull these off, but these are just not for me. ... show more

I rarely give reviews. But I find buying clothing on Amazon extremely difficult, so felt it was important to share. I bought several pairs of these shorts for my daughter for her Birthday all in the same size. I based my decision on another review who stated they fit well and that person was similar size as my daughter. (5' 2" 200lbs) First... between the 5 pairs 3 pairs are the same size. The other 2 are much smaller. First thing I noticed is the packaging is not entirely the same on the smaller shorts. I am not sure whether this means they are a "newer" or older version but maybe qhy they are smaller? Next... these shorts are very soft, BUT they are VERY VERY thin. So plan on seeing every line or dimple through them and the legs will probably roll. My daughter wears a lot of the buttery soft leggings which I assumed these shorts would be similar to... However, these are much thinner than those. The back rise also seems short with strange pleats? At almost $20 a pair...these are not worth the money in my opinion. They seem very flimsy and not well made and I doubt I will keep them. For Picture Comparison: The navy are much smaller and tighter and some shorter. The dark color is definitely better for camouflage purposes because they are so thin. The green fit much better. But the color does not hide anything. So if you don't like underwear lines or dimples and lines showing-- these may not be a good option. I also believe because of the way the fabric is...they will have a tendency to roll in between the legs. The pleats in the back in my opinion give them a weird fit as well. It's also the luck of the draw on the sizes. Three pairs are sized like the green and two like the navy. So I am not sure if I ordered another pair it would change it. With the inconsistentcy of sizes, fabric weight, and price... I would not order them again. ... show more

Eh. I made it work for one outfit. I bought blue and black. After a month I retired them to my PJ shorts. I wanted to love them because they are super soft and comfy, but if your thighs rub — DO NOT buy them if you hate your shorts riding up. I sprayed the shorts with sticky hair spray and sprayed my thighs in an attempt to get them to stay in place. Not a chance in the blue blazes! They ride ALLLLLL the way up to my panty line. If I had known that before I wore them out in public, I would’ve returned them, but I wasn’t aware until I started moving a lot. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Living in Southern California the majority of my life has made me fear the turn of the seasons - April’s showers bring May’s unremitting heat & oppression. Desperately scrolling through Amazon, my thumb slides the images until they’re no more distinguishable than the flickering lights of nameless cars traveling past you, throwing shadows along the wall tracing the swallowed, long-ago-forgotten, memories of flushed cheeks, beads of sweat running down the spine of my back, my step getting shorter, heavier the farther I go, the sun begins to sit heavily on my shoulders. As if the wail of my despair had penetrated the heavens, my eyes focuses on an image, a beautiful pair of shorts, pockets included.... dare I give my heart to another pair of women’s clothing bought off the internet with no guarantee that it would either fit or be flattering? I took a leap of faith, eyes closed, arms open, caught by the loving embrace of these amazing shorts. The fabric paints the curves of my behind into a masterpiece to be hung in the Louvre, framed for all to stand & admire. The waistband swaddles my waist rather than invoking discomfort as I lounge lazily on the couch writing this. To validate that these shorts would be compatible for my bohemian lifestyle the West Coast allows, I wore them on a jaunt to the corner gas station. My eyes, as if peering through slits, strained against the brilliance of how pale my legs have become, long since kissed by the golden warmth of the sun. My inner thighs remained nestled within these shorts, an infant swaddled next to the breast of my mother.
