We purchased this due to our dog killing the grass repeatedly in our courtyard. We only had a 2’x14’ strip of grass and I have replanted grass in that area for four years. After each good stand of new grass her urine would eventually kill it. This artificial grass looks great, is very durable, and was easy to install. My install when as follows- I removed about 4” of dirt where I wanted to place the artificial grass, I put a 3” layer of 1/4” crushed rock, then an inch of play sand on top of the crush before cutting the grass to size and laying it in place. After rolling it a few times, I anchored it to the ground with landscape felt pins. Remember, if you plan on rolling it, leave a little extra in the cut areas so it’s not too short. I am very pleased, any urine soaks through the grass, sand, and crush rock. We get plenty of rain but between rain we do hose it off so we never get a smell. I give a five star. If I need to replace this grass, I will reorder the same.

We're renting, so anything we do has to be undone easily. We put this on top of the rocks and we can barely feel the rocks through it. It looks nice and breaks up the gray of the backyard. The dog doesn't use it for her business, she lays on it and plays on it. We're very happy with this turf!

The delivery was within 5 days of ordering and it came in a box. I ordered the 10x15 foot size. The detail makes it look a lot like real grass. I just installed it today. I needed help unfolding it out of the box and laying it over the pavers sand. But once I got it down I was able to stake it to the ground very easily by myself. So far so good. I was laying on it for a good 30 minutes after I installed it and it was very comfortable. It felt like real grass, but no allergic reaction. I did get it wet for a bit and it becomes slippery but I don’t expect to be on it much when it’s wet. I’m in love with it and can’t stop staring out my windows. Leaving 4 stars for now because it’s only been one day. Will come back to upgrade to 5 stars in a few months.

Delivery wasn’t ideal since USPS didn’t deliver to my door and I had to lug this from the mailroom to my building. However, once I opened it I was happy to see it was soft and had no lines. It is easy to cut with a box cutter and customizing it to fit my porch has been pretty smooth so far. There is a slight smell but that’s understandable with it being plastic and it’s likely to go away outside. Overall, it’s a great product and more affordable than similar items from Lowe’s, Home Depot. Hope it holds up for a couple of years!

I live in the high desert where it's not practical to grow grass, however we are getting a puppy soon and want the grass for him (for ease and comfort, piddle-poo area.) After doing the research I chose this 7x15 artificial turf. Install is important. I took my time, studied the information vids on youtube. I also slightly raised the center for appearance, settling, and drainage. I bought both the 6" nails and the much less expensive landscape staples (6"). The staples were most effective and hid very well. The color is right, the quality is very good, and with patience the install turned out pleasing. I would definitely do it again. When it rains (hard) drainage is not a problem. We will most likely be adding more of the same in other areas of our yard. It looks great!

Super patchy grass. Tried to “fluff up” the grass because it was like walking on a rubber mat but it just had the black rubber show through. Way overpriced and very poor quality.
