We have two awnings on our fifth wheel. We are full-time RVers so our rig is out in all weathers. We clean it thoroughly twice a year: once after the pollen has gone and again after the leaves have dropped. In between times we use a waterless wash wax to keep it clean. On its twice yearly cleanings Richard uses this Thetford Awning Cleaner to give the awnings a good scrub and they look really good afterwards. WARNING: This cleaner will not get old mold off! We made the mistake of leaving one of our wet awnings in for a period of time and mold grew on the top side. Sun has now baked it in and there is no getting it off. We have had our camper for 5 years so it didn't totally remove the lines but it did a great job! Just don't wait as long as we did. If you do this annually when you get your camper it will be awesome?

Oh my gosh, this is amazing stuff! We recently bought an rv and the awning was disgusting! It had such a horrible mildew smell and mold was all over it, so gross. We tried another product that helped a little bit but still left stains and smell. We used this and it worked great worth a small amount of elbow grease. Keeping this on hand to use when is time to clean the awning again. ... show more

Put it on awning. Let is sit for 40 minutes. Used a scrub brush. Removed some dirt, but the heavy staining, it didn't even touch. If your awning is severely soiled, don't expect this to be a miracle cleaner.

Absolute junk. I check reviews before buying on line products and have no idea who would recommend a product that does not work even a little bit. I followed the directions exactly and even though my stains were few and minor, this product never phased them. I am very disappointed to say the least.
