***Update*** I believe that the bobbins that come in this package are class 15 bobbins which work for many newer sewing machines. Unfortunately they didn't work for mine; however the seller was very proactive in addressing this problem and issued a partial refund for the purchase, as I have already used some of the thread spools. I had no problems with the thread spools and I like the color variety. ******** These bobbins jam my machine. At first I thought it was just me, as I'm very new to sewing, but it's not. You can see in the picture, the bobbin on the right is a bobbin that I wound from the thread spools that came in the package, and the bobbin on the left is the one that came pre-wound. It's slightly fatter, and is held in place by the plate, unable to spin. I have an older Singer machine which you can see in the background of the photo. The threads on the bobbins are also different from the threads on the spools. I'm not sure if the color difference comes across in the picture, as it's very subtle. For some colors you can hardly tell the difference at all. It seems like a slightly thinner thread on the bobbins, though it's extremely close. The very slight spool/bobbin thread difference doesn't bother me since it's so close.

Great selection of thread with matching bobbins for the price! My only complaint is there were a few bobbin colors that did not have thread matches and some of the thread/bobbin colors did not appear to be the exact same. Otherwise, very happy with this purchase!

the threads are breaking, I don't know, maybe it's because of my sewing machine, I'll figure it out. But the threads are not very dense, they are easy to break.

This review should answer those pondering questions!! Without any detailed or descriptive reviews it’s hard to know if the thread is worth the money. I have a Singer Sew Mate 5400 (basic machine). Its has been sensitive to generic bobbins and needles. I took a gamble on purchasing the threads with the bobbins. My thought was to rewind the bobbin thread onto Singer Bobbins if these bobbins did not work. To my excitement the bobbins work in my machine. The thread tube is wide, and you might think it won’t work. As long as you have thread end holders to hold in place the thread works well! The colors are vibrant and sturdy. I do suggest using wax on the cut end. I have sewn the thread into; thin leather, silk, cotton, polyester, rayon, blends, thick heavy sweaters, blankets, fleece. And more. All has held together! Washed/dried well! I bought both the large and small rolls of thread. The scissors, needle threader and measuring tape is an added bonus that came with one set of thread. Because I wasn’t sure of the longevity I’d get from the thread. Depending on how much you sew should be your determination of which size you buy… you don’t need both sizes… I’ll have thread around longer than I will be! :)
