Heavy-duty; seems like it will be protective. But the Velcro strips are sewn on wrong, so they aren't useful. I think you are supposed to be able to tighten the bottom of the cover with the Velcro strips, but they aren't in the right place. Fortunately they don't seem to be needed.

We originally had the pit boss cover, but within the first year the cover ripped and over time became brittle. So tossed that out and found this cover. What I like about this cover is it slips completely over the smoker and has no zippers. Giving it that nice fit but secure and they have velcro straps on the bottoms but I found those to be useless. There are handles on the sides which give you indication of how to slip on the cover and it fits the smoke stack perfect. The material feels great, curious to see how it holds up in the summertime but for winter its doing a great job at protecting against the winter elements keeping it dry. ... show more
