I have a SecretLab Magnus Pro XL desk with riser that I wanted to mount my 49" monitor to, but alas, they are still "coming soon" with their HD mount. In my search, I came across this and the clamp style was perfect as it wouldn't intrude on my cable management tray cover opening and closing. Just set it up, and you don't even have to max out the gas adjustment knob to hold this huge monitor. It's of very good quality and cable management is great. For the price, I'm beyond pleased. Would highly recommend especially if you are looking to support your large monitor.

Simple to set up, does hold the monitor well, as for the tilt it does hold it straight but you really have to tighten it, you might need a second person to hold the tilt while you tighten it

So step two drill hole in desk. Well um no way in the world would I have purchased this to drill through my desk. Would have been nice to know this before purchasing. Drill hole.... just dumb. If you want I guess you can purchase this mount. But anybody whole has a nice desk isnt to keen on drilling more holes in it. Thats the whole point purchasing a nice desk not to drill through it yea this is an absolute mess throw the whole thing away.
