This product does exactly what they say. It swells up and adds volume to the soil, making it where it doesn’t pack down. It also allows the moisture to retain but not be soggy.

I have used coir from other suppliers in the past, and came across this brand on Amazon. The price/weight was good, so I tried it. I'm glad that I did, as it gave me more coir than I expected. It absorbed a lot of water, and expanded very quickly. I also check the salt levels in the coir, and this one was in the extremely low range, so I know it will do great with my plants. The coir was very clean, loose and fluffy. I will be ordering a few more blocks from Amazon in the upcoming months. Absolutely love it, and highly recommended!

I bought this item as a filler for my container garden. When you add water it really expands. I’m mixing with my container soil and also adding a thick layer to the top as a moisture barrier. So far my plants seem to love it as they are thriving. It ground coconut shells so it’s safe for my plants. I bought two bricks but I think it’s way too much for my container garden. I have plenty of potted plants that could use a good mulching. 🙂

Put 2 bricks of this on my 24x12 garden to improve the soil, tilled it in. Had a bad moss problem, but now only tiny bits of it left. My seeds are coming up, so something's working. Also added 400 lbs of Dairy Doo, and good fertilizer.

The package was well packed and arrived on time. The tutorial to use the product was informative and easy to follow. Waiting to finish repotting my indoor plants. Great for indoor greenhouse. I maintain an indoor greenhouse in my basement and wanted to use coco coir for my plants. I used only half the coco block and yielded a lot of coir, more than I expected, and it was nice and fluffy. I plan to use the rest, later in the year. Good Coco. I will buy again.
