This is by far by favorite tumbler with a tea infuser & strainer! I've tried many and this wins my heart! It's a versatile piece - I can use it for hot and cold, coffee or tea. Because it's stainless steel walled, there is never any lingering taste from the previous drink. Drinks stay the temperature you want them to ALL DAY and more. The design is minimalist, sleek and simply beautiful. The stainless steel mesh infuser and strainer are perfect for even the finest ground tea and coffee beans. Yes- I've even made my own cold brew and regular hot coffee with this beauty! The tumbler is also perfect for water. The quality is so obviously great all around. I have zero suggestions to improve this tumbler. To top it off, the price point is extremely fair - it's worth every penny of the $18 it costs... It's the best!

*Received this product at no charge in exchange for an honest review.* I loved this tumblr! I used it for water since that is primarily what I drink. It says that can keep beverages hot for 12 hour and cold for 24 hours, and although I didn’t test it with a hot beverage, it far exceeded my expectations for a cold beverage! I used both beverages with ice and without ice. Water right out of the refrigerator from a Brita pitcher with no ice stayed cold for about 12 hours, and this included sitting in my car in the middle of the day with the summer Mississippi heat. With ice, I feel like it would have kept my drink cold for longer than 24 hours if I hadn’t drank it all. I filled the tumblr with ice and water at 2pm, drank out of it, then it sat next to my bedside until about 12pm the next day, and the water was still ice cold and still had ice cubes floating around. This tumbler is durable as well! The rubber seal in the lid reall keeps the liquid inside through dropping and shaking. The look of the tumbler is really unique. I had never seen a tumbler with a bamboo look before, and it looks really nice in person. The design is really sleek and is a nice change in look from your typical all metal, all glass, or all plastic tumblers. Although I did not use the two-part tea infuser, I thought it was a great addition for those that brew their own tea in small batches. The metal canister slides in just at the top of the tumbler, and it allows you to steep tea for a gradual steep, a heavy steep, or you can hang a tea bag with a string in the tumbler. Overall, this is a great product and is well worth the price. Edited on 8/26/2018 to add: After using this tumbler for longer, I’ve noticed that the outside bamboo covering the metal canister has started to move. I guess the glue has come apart from twisting open the lid. I’ve tried not to screw the lid on so tight, but the beverage in the tumbler won’t stay as cold for as long if I don’t screw it on tight.

The Leaf Life company gets 5 stars for its excellent customer service. The first bamboo tumbler I received from Amazon leaked from the lid and did not retain its heat at all. After one hour it was barely luke warm. Rather than going through the Amazon return/exchange process, I instead tried directly contacting Leaf Life. They responded promptly and sent me a new tumbler. The replacement works perfectly for me, and I am completely satisfied. I like to brew loose herbal teas for an extended time so they will be nice and strong, yet still hot when I’m ready to drink them. After 5 hours in this tumbler, my tea is the perfect temperature for me, and after 8 hours it is still comfortably warm. In the past, I’ve used Zojirushi thermoses, which are still scalding hot after 8 hours. As a result, I have to pour my tea into a separate cup to drink. Not so with the Leaf Life - it’s the perfect temperature to drink directly from the tumbler when I’m ready. I also love the fact that the strainer and the inside of the mug are stainless steel. Though superior in heat retention, the Zojirushi tea infuser tumblers have a non-stick interior and a partially plastic tea strainer. I much prefer stainless steel, which was my primary reason for choosing the Leaf Life tumbler. The straining device itself works great - I love that you can either let the leaves float loose in the water for a long term brew, or put them inside the basket for a short term brew. The tumbler’s bamboo exterior is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. If I could suggest any improvements to the Leaf Life tumbler, it would be to make the lid more sturdy, which would increase its insulation, and to include a second lid (or offer it separately as an accessory), which would have a travel friendly flip top. It would be nice to have both lid options. Overall, I am very pleased with my new Leaf Life Bamboo Tea Tumbler and use it several times each day.
