Have had in my truck for a month now. Working fine and the best price your likely to find anywhere. Easy to install and even came with a sticker. Was packed well in box and padded. No damage. Make sure your battery is fully charged prior to starting up vehicle. A dead or drained battery will kill an alternator trying to charge it back up. When it fails, I will give my final thoughts. I typically rebuild the factory original alternator myself, due to everything from Autoparts Stores is freaking junk, or worse. I'm quite impressed with the build quality. Bearings are smoothe as glass, slightly undersized machined aluminum pulley, it's heavy so the windings have to be good and tight. With the undersized pulley (2.78mm) it will have higher voltage output at lower RPM, but may reduce it's service life but I doubt it. ... show more

It's a perfect fit fory 2002 F150 with the 4.6L. Seems to be working fine for now. Will update if any problems but so far so good.

    • 6 months old and its trash!
Purchased for crown Victoria after ORIGINAL one that lasted an amazing 24 years, yes truly unbelievable 24 years finally quit. This new one was very inexpensive, and looked great out of the box. It performed well for the first 4 and1/2 months. On month 5 noticed tye voltage output by roughly 1/2 volt, not a big deal as it still charged the battery within acceptable range. 1 week later went to start car, just had clicking, battery was depleted. Charged battery, and tested, battery good. 4 days later , had trouble starting vehicle but was able to without a jump. Checked battery and alternator, both ok. Checked for bad grounds, none present. 2 weeks later Battery dead again! Charged battery. Checked charging system, good. 1 day later while driving to work, volts were high. Above 15.4 volts, ruined battery in vehicle. Took car to mechanic have diagnostic test. Internal regulator in alternator bad, battery cell damaged, had to replace both! $ 88 alternator from Amazon Bolder Power LLC ended up costing $458 to replace! Very disappointed! Maybe just a bad alternator I got 🤷🏻♂️. Buyer beware! ... show more
