  • Good alternator
I've used this for my 1995 SC300. Proper fitment with no issue installing. The alternator functions as it should. I'd recommend this to fellow SC drivers!

  • Caused Fuse to Blow
Idk if this is just an incredibly poor quality alternator or I just got very unlucky but the one I ordered came with a short in it (my best guess). It hooked up perfect to my 95 Lexus SC300 and after going 6 days without a car I was thrilled.... then it shorted out and blew my alt fuse (those of you w/ this car know what a headache replacing fuses can be). I couldn't go another week or more without a car waiting on a replacement that MIGHT work so I just purchased a refurbished one for twice the price. Bought three $3 to $5 fuses only for none to work. Had to get one from Lexus for $22. So not only did this waste my time it also cost me $35 in fuses and forced me into buying an overpriced alternator. If you're lucky enough to get one that works, it may be great. The price is right (though Walmart used to sell it for $48). But I wouldn't risk it. Clearly has bad quality control. ... show more
