Promix is potting soil with mycorrhizae added because some plants need the mycorrhizae to grow. It could be used for many different plants but I use it to start Milkweed plants which are Monarch butterfly host plants. I live in Texas which is the funnel for the Monarch migration just before reaching their hibernation grounds in central Mexico. It works well and can be used for other plants but costs more than regular potting soil without the mycorrhizae. Price for this product varies among different sellers.
