This is a non-drying clay mask. That is not an understatement. Unlike a traditional clay mask, it never dries on your skin. As well, it doesn't dry my skin out. It does seem to clean well without stripping. The warming effect didn't last long. The texture honestly made me think of what it might be like to mix a clay mask with a diy slime. It's a bit tough to explain, but I did like it. The presentation is pretty and looks expensive. The problem for me is that it is quite expensive for the amount you get, and I didn't find that the value was quite there.

This warming mask is pretty cool. I applied it only to my nose in an effort to melt down some build up of oxidized oil in my pores. (Looks like “blackheads”) At first glance, this jar is gorgeous and such a pretty design, the mask is a pretty lavender color, it smells like straight Vicks vapor rub BUT it smells medicinal, and like it works 😂 … within about 10 minutes it looked like everything was lifting out of my pores and got me super excited! After removing I noticed it didn’t clear evvvvverything like I had HOPED, but it looked better and made it easier to slightly squeeze the sides of my nose and extract those “blackheads” all in all, I’m an esthetician with over a decade of expertise, and I approve this product!

I haven't heard of this brand before but I have been wanting to try warming face mask like this one. It does start off cool and then gets warm pretty quick so it's super soothing especially in cold weather. I love the botanical ingredients like herbs and mushrooms. It does have a scent which I believe is the rosemary, but it's not too potent. I use thin layers, let it sit for 15mins and then wash with warm water, and it doesn't cause any dryness or irritation. I love the heavy glass jar it comes in too, plus the cute little spatula to scoop it out! I also love that it's made in the USA, vegan, and cruelty free!

This non drying clay mask is unlike anything I’ve used before. It goes on smoothly and never dries to the touch so there is no cracking or flaking. The smell is light and gives me skin a tingling feeling. It’s easy to wash off and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.

I was surprised how small the jar was considering the price (currently $56) but was surprised by the results. I did apply liberally. It first felt cool at first then started to warm up but in a soothing way not irritating at all. Directions said to use for 15 minutes, but I left mine on longer because I got distracted with chores. It didn’t make a mess or drip, nor does it dry and crack. When I rinsed it off, my skin felt smoother and refreshed. There was some tingling so I’m not sure if I scrubbed it off too hard or if that’s normal. I’m happy with the results and feel like the impurities are gone. I’m surely gonna do this twice a month. However, I feel this small jar will only give me four applications. My reason for deducting one star is because I feel like it should contain more product for the same price.

I’ve never used a clay mask with this kind of consistency and I actually really like it. I normally find clay masks drying and a little bit messy to work with. This one applies almost more like a gel once you get it out of the pot and onto your face. It feels nice and slightly cooling on your face and the smell is subtle but pleasant. The purple jar and mask with the gold scoop is attractive and I’m a sucker for things looking fancy to elevate the experience, so I like this. It suggests you leave the mask on for 10-15 minutes, I’ve been opting for the longer 15. It doesn’t dry down like other clay masks which I like. My skin looks clean and bright after using and I’ve found the mask to be gentle enough that you can use it multiple times a week. I’m really pleased with this mask and am keeping it in mind as a gift for friends and family since the mask is effective, different, and the branding/jar is cute too!
