The portability aspect of the panel is fantastic on its own! I love all the different port options too, it's a huge benefit when you've got larger battery packs that have to charge via DC (having all the conversion ends is really nice to have as well). However, try as a might, I just couldn't get the advertised 30w of charging over DC. I tried mid-day and early evening and results were about the same, I couldn't get anything over 13w of power when charging my battery. It's not a terrible thing, it would still charge the battery I have in a day (it usually charges at 35w when plugged into an outlet from 0% to 100% in about 3 hours, so if there was ~9 hours of sunlight it would charge all the way), but if I was trying to charge a larger battery and still only got 13w, that would kind of suck. Aside from that, the build quality is fantastic, and I love that it folds in on itself to protect itself when not in use. The holes on the corners are great too for being able to hang it up to get sunlight while on the move, or to just hang off the side of something. ... show more

    • Nice looking and portable
It looks fantastic - it resembles a small laptop case. There's a zipper pocket with the interface and the cables. It has various size cannon-style round adapters, but nothing for a phone or tablet, but the interface has the ports for you to connect your own cables (USB a & c). It does have 4 carabiners to attach the corners of the panel to secure it. When you open the main case, which is secured with velcro, it folds out into a 3-piece solar panel. The interface will now be on the bottom of the panels and not readily reachable, so connect your cables first. It truly is a nice design, and I really wanted to love this thing, but it doesn't seem to have the output that I would have hoped for. I connected it to an older, discharged iPhone as a test. In direct sunlight, after 2 hours of charging, I had about 30% charge. Other tests don't seem to show a tremendous output, although it definitely does work and would be good in an emergency situation. Due to its design, it would make for a very portable, stowable, and easily transportable piece of emergency equipment. ... show more

    • Ultra portable and foldable solar panel for on-the-go charging
I'm going to give the Power Stream 30 w portable solar panel five stars across the board. The solar panel itself folds out into three separate sections and it's super slim and sleek for easy stow away. The panel would be great for camping trips, Jeeping, fishing, hunting trips, and much more. The panel has multiple outputs for charging just about any phone or tablet out there and it also has a cord that you can hook up directly to a solar panel hookup to a controller or add to an additional system and also has multiple DC outputs for powering a plethora of devices. The panel itself is enclosed in a very nice durable material that looks like it can withstand quite the abuse and also has four rings on all corners and comes with a set of four carnbiner to string up the panel pretty much wherever you need it to gain sunlight. This panel could be a fun Gadget to tag along on your adventures or can also be a lifesaver in a time of need. I think it's well worth the asking price just for a piece of mind. The panel closes with a velcro latch and has a pocket on the outside which houses the connection to the panel and also stores items you may need. If you're looking for a on-the-go panel this is definitely a must and I highly recommend it. I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered this. I have a 100W portable charging setup for my power station, but sometimes you just need something for a phone or a USB fan when out and about. This unit is well built and high portable. It folds up neatly and is held closed with velcro. It has a pocket that contains the charger plug (USB-A, USB-A IQ (rapid charge), USB-C, and DC Plug). It also comes with 10 assorted tips that can convert the DC Plug to plug into many devices that take a plug! I tested this in the shade of the approaching sunset and not in direct sunlight. It was still able to produce a charge that was registered by my phone and by my juiceblock. When I walked it into direct sunlight, the charging wattage tripled. TIP: While this unit is capable of producing 30w or charging power in direct sunlight, there are other factors affecting you ACTUALLY getting that power. First, your device will only pull the power it needs and that often is a lot less than 30w. Second, if you have a flimsy charging cord, that will limit the amount of power it can carry to your device. So, if you want to make sure you get every watt of power, invest in a power cord that is rated at 30W or more. I have one that will show the charging power being taken by the device and I use this to see if a solar panel or charging block is adequate. ... show more

    • Does not Super Fast Charge Samsung S22 Ultra. Probably better options for around $90.
I picked up this solar panel charger for my go bag. It seems like natural disasters are hitting about everywhere these days, and I just want to be prepared in case something happens. Of course I'll still use it when we camp and travel, but the primary purpose is for emergencies. This is the lightweight and functional enough to get the job done, though it isn't going to get the job done fast. It may have Quick Charge 3.0, but it doesn't generate enough juice to Super Fast Charge or Super Fast Charge 2.0 my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. Maybe I'm asking a lot, but the battery on this phone is so large that it's going to take about 90 minutes to charge to full instead of the typical 30-45 minutes it would normally take if Super Fast Charging. I could just charge up my portable battery with the solar panel and then use it to charge my phone, but for $89.99 it needs to be able to do that, especially considering that other, comparable products are similarly priced and generate 60W of power. ... show more

We had a mid day power outage and I forgot to put my phone on the charger and this thing saved me. It is exactly as represented in the product page and comes with a weather of adapters
