This solar battery maintainer saved my battery. I haven’t been driving my car much for the past 3 months, and it’s been mostly parked. A couple times a week I will move my car so it doesn’t get towed, but other than that it is always parked. Apparently not driving drains the battery. I had to jump it a few times and finally took it into an AutoZone thinking I needed a new battery. They tested the battery and told me it was still good. It was frustrating still having to jump it every week, so after a few chat gpt questions, I decided to try a battery maintainer it recommended to see if that would prevent it from draining. I park on the street and can’t plug it into an outlet, so I bought the solar powered one. I figured I would try it before giving up completely and spending $350 on a new battery. It was the best $40 I ever spent. My car cigarette lighter shuts off when the car is off so I had to clip it directly onto the battery. The clips fit perfectly and easily. The mounting cups allow me to mount it to my interior windshield. It comes off very easily when I need to drive and stores nearly inside it’s pouch. It’s been over a month now, and I have not had to jump my car not even once. I still only drive on occasion, but I’m super happy I don’t have to wonder if my car will start when I’m ready to leave. Highly recommend it.

I have a truck with all the bells and whistles. I don't drive it that often. After a week or so the voltage drops to 12.3, which over time, wears that battery down. There were more times where it sat longer and all I got was the dreaded "click". This solved the problem. I have a 2018 Ram Limited and it fits perfectly on the dash and the leg that hold it up goes right into the place I normally put sunglasses. I park under a carport and enough light gets to it to give at least a little current, which for the last few weeks, has been enough to maintain voltage. I have been seeing upper 13 volts in the afternoon. Not sure what the battery starts at in the morning though.

I only use my diesel truck when hauling a horse and sometimes the truck sits too long between trips. No issues since I have been using this solar trickle charger. Very easy to set up. The only slight change I would make is to have the suction cups attach more securely. Minor issue, just be aware and don’t lose one.

I do not drive my car much and battery goes dead. Got tired of getting out charger and hooking up. With this always plugged in and on my dash it seems to always start when I need it to. I have had this on my car all last winter and other than snow blocking it at times, my car started all winter for me. LED on it shows green for charging and dosen't have to be sunny out to charge. LED is red when not charging. Does not slide around on dash when driving because of rigid rubber thick edges. My car is older so it already had a power socket that is always on with or without key.

Label seems about accurate, in full sun I can get about 0.39 amps, 17.57 volts so about 6.8 watts. Not sure if that would actually charge a car battery very well but just for testing/fun using a buck converter dropping it down to 5.1 volts (losing also half of the energy in the process) charging small battery packs.
