What a cheap piece of junk!—If you mess around with the battery door on the motorcycle enough and bang it a few times, you can probably get the batteries to make occasional contact to power the thing. When it DOES go, it only goes intermittently. It WILL, however, spin around in a left-hand gyration all day long despite its inability to go forward no matter how hard you mash the “go forward” button. Don’t waste your time and money on this third world flea market item—we returned it within 6 minutes of putting batteries in it. BE EFFICIENT WITH YOUR TIME! If you already ordered this RC motorcycle, just fill out the return request right now and take the box straight down to Kohl’s as soon as Amazon drops it off on your front porch—It’ll take you longer to un-package and repackage it for return than it will for you to figure out how huge a disappointing piece of junk this thing is!

I tried this out with my wife and her nephews at a holiday get-together. Here are a few thoughts: First thing, make sure you have a nice, smooth surface to drive this on. As you can see in the video, it gets stuck on even the slightest bit of bumpy road. Secondly, we couldn't figure out how to turn off the engine noise. Granted, we didn't spend too much time figuring it out, but this thing is loud! I could see it easily annoying people in the other room. I think this would be better for a younger child, maybe 5-7 years old. A RC motorcycle is a nice change of pace from your regular, boring RC cars/etc, and there is definitely some fun to be had here. It entertained us, and kept those rascals from getting into mischief, at least for a little while.

I ordered this for my five year old, but after he got in some major trouble, his consequence was loosing a toy out of his “prize” bin that we use for good behavior. This was the toy I chose, he was very upset, but he did choose to gift it to the neighbor kids, and I see them playing with it all the time. It seems to work well on a variety of surfaces (their driveway, the wooden ramp they built for it out of plywood), and it zips around and stays upright with ease. They have a big household of kids, and they fight over who gets to play with it. I was surprised it stays upright so well. It’s a nice size, and they had it up and running very quickly, and their ages range from 4-9 years old, so it must be easy to use. They’ve had a lot of fun using it, and for the price, I may purchase another for my child to put back in the prize bin.

Probably the only issue I have with this is needing to use 6 disposable AA batteries in it to run; other than that it is a super fun toy! Everything works perfectly, my son has been driving it all over the pavement doing spins and zooming back and forth. It handles dirt and grass decently, wont spin but will driver forward. It doesn't turn either I've noticed, or it's hard to turn anyway, but that's ok. He's having fun.
