  • Well built...great space saver
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
Solidly built....have Dewalt planner (92 lbs) on one side and Dewalt 8.5" table saw (45 lbs) on the other....works great...real space saver. You just need to carefully lay out position of attaching bolts for both tools to ensure that one set doesn't interfere with the opposing sides set. You also need to provide your own bolts/nuts/washers to attach your chosen tools....which makes sense as various tools will require different diameters and lengths. ... show more

  • Great concept! Poor design for assembly
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
Table is great. Assembly a bit tough. Especially the top platform to the frame. No room to get a socket wrench in to tighten hardware. You pretty much have to use the cheap little stamped steel wrench provided to tighten which is painful to your hands and can’t get fastener real tight

  • Two tools in the footprint of a single tool.
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
An well built alternative to the Jet flip stand. I don't know that I prefer the tricycle wheels, but I had to purchase casters for the Jet and the Powertec came with them. I believe it is somewhat sturdier and a bit larger than the Jet at a better price point. Were I to buy another, it would probably be this one. Yes, many woodworkers make their own. But when you are trying to organize, sometimes a quick solution is best. This puts two tools into the footprint of one and that is a win win. ... show more

  • Wiggly and unreliable without modification
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
For the price I think they could have gone to the trouble of adding 4 extra bolts and drilling 4 extra holes in the base. The legs connect to the base with a single bolt in each corner. So the table is wobbly. If you push, the legs move and the top shifts out of level. I ended up squaring it all up and tac welding the legs to the base plates. If you don't modify it, it's not going to be great if you plan on doing things like putting a planer or a saw on it. Any movement on the top moves the legs. ... show more

  • Works Great - It’s a great concept.
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
I purchased this for my Dewalt 734 planer, the planer’s wheel is on the Top , not the side. The Table itself arrived with no damage, the painted parts had marks- appeared to have been assembled, hardware etc is all brand new. My only conclusion is that it was test fitted in the factory. So assembly went smoothly. What I did different from instructions; I reversed the bottom hardware so just the bolt head is facing the floor for more clearance. I assembled the Top to the Frame with the top being upside down, and the frame upside down. This was to minimize friction/ paint being damaged as I was assembling myself. I mounted using nut inserts with minimal lips, I used two different styles, that’s what I had on hand. I had to lower the horizontal cross members for clearance another benefit from assembling upside down. I could measure the exact height and adjust accordingly with minimal effort I used an impact deep well 13mm with a swivel mount, worked 90%, then used an open end wrench for the tricky ones. So it’s fairly easy to flip without having a counter weight (another tool) on top. I was very concerned about this because I want to mount a bench sander just don’t know when so I want to use as a table until then. It’s not the greatest to move around, if the wheels would swivel it would be much better. The table top is MDF I wish was real wood or composite. For the money, it’s great. ... show more

  • Lock pins need help
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
I love the concept, One of the rear lock pins for the top came out of the frame, third time I used it. The spring was caught in the joint between frame and top which deformed the spring. Other than really like the table. hoping customer service will see this and send me the parts to repair.

  • Just what I needed
Size: Flip Top Tool Stand with Caster
Over all I'm very satisfied, the filp top works very smooth with a Dewalt planner and a Ridgid ocelating sander on it. Works great in my small shop.
