Absolutely love this table. It's a little pricey, but the quality is there, so it feels like a decent deal. Easy assembly, very strong and sturdy. I'm a moron and didn't measure the router table I wanted to place on top - 26" Doh! 1" too wide. Oh well! The router table had crossmembers with holes, so I simply rotated it 90 degrees. It hangs over by an inch on each side - but is still incredibly rock solid, and clears the rotation. So, ended up still working beautifully - just don't mind the goffy overhang!

Fantastic Space-Saver for a Small Workshop!
Style: Flip Top Tool Stand
I absolutely love this POWERTEC Flip Top Tool Stand! If you have a smaller workshop and need to make the most of every inch of space, this is a fantastic solution. I mounted my WEN scroll saw on one side and my WEN spindle/belt sander on the other. Instead of having two separate stands taking up valuable floor space, I can simply flip the top over to whichever tool I need. The flipping mechanism works great, and once it is locked in place, the stand feels sturdy and secure while I'm working. The casters are another huge plus. I can easily roll the stand out when I need to use one of the tools and move it back out of the way when I'm finished. That makes a big difference in my little workshop where floor space is at a premium. Assembly was straightforward, the stand feels well made, and I really like being able to keep two benchtop tools ready to use without constantly moving machines around. If you're trying to organize a small shop and have multiple benchtop tools, I highly recommend this stand. It has given me more usable workspace and helped make my shop much more functional. I would definitely buy it again!

Good deal, seems sturdy, fiddly assembly
Style: Flip Top Tool Stand
Overall this stand is a good deal and seems sturdy. I like that the tabletop can easily be replaced with another board in the future, e.g. a piece of plywood, without disassembling the rest of the cart. That's good, because assembly was not much fun. The manual was easy to follow and the hardware was very well organized on a cardboard card, so I never had trouble finding the right part. My main complaint is ease of assembly. Some of the square holes for the carriage bolts were difficult to line up, even though I was sure to keep the frame square and didn't tighten everything until the end. I had to use a spreader clamp to get the final bolt in for the top, even though the other bolts went in just fine. I should also note that the foot lever that raises and lowers the front wheel was way too tight to use out of the box, but that is an easy fix. The best upgrade for this product would be larger rubber wheels. The plastic wheels are small and limit the range of tilt motion. They will probably be the first part of this product to break.

Works Great - It’s a great concept.

I purchased this for my Dewalt 734 planer, the planer’s wheel is on the Top , not the side. The Table itself arrived with no damage, the painted parts had marks- appeared to have been assembled, hardware etc is all brand new. My only conclusion is that it was test fitted in the factory. So assembly went smoothly. What I did different from instructions; I reversed the bottom hardware so just the bolt head is facing the floor for more clearance. I assembled the Top to the Frame with the top being upside down, and the frame upside down. This was to minimize friction/ paint being damaged as I was assembling myself. I mounted using nut inserts with minimal lips, I used two different styles, that’s what I had on hand. I had to lower the horizontal cross members for clearance another benefit from assembling upside down. I could measure the exact height and adjust accordingly with minimal effort I used an impact deep well 13mm with a swivel mount, worked 90%, then used an open end wrench for the tricky ones. So it’s fairly easy to flip without having a counter weight (another tool) on top. I was very concerned about this because I want to mount a bench sander just don’t know when so I want to use as a table until then. It’s not the greatest to move around, if the wheels would swivel it would be much better. The table top is MDF I wish was real wood or composite. For the money, it’s great.

Well built, sturdy

I hesitated buying this as being a woodworker I felt I could make one. I’m very happy with the purchase, it’s very well built and sturdy. I mounted my Dewalt DW735 and a Ridgid belt/spindle sander on it, they fit well. The planer has the fold down in/out tables which made it a tight fit, I will use bungee cords to keep them out of the way when tipping it over as they are hinged and want to flip down. I bought this mainly to free up some floor space which it has. I would purchase again

Sturdy and functional but a headache to assemble

It's a very sturdy stand and works as advertised, but assembly is nightmarish. I don't think it could safely be assembled by one person and even with two people, expect it to take about 2 to 3 hours. Make sure you have a ratcheting socket wrench. Wrenches are included, but you need to get them into some surprisingly tight spaces to get everything locked down. You will also need a mallet to get some of the bolts in place. The retractable wheel required a lot of force to get it into position, but once it was there, it works really well. I usually have great experiences with powertec products, but honestly, I wish I had just built my own flip top tool cart out of wood. It would have been cheaper and taken less time.
