This isn't my first drill press table build, but this time I wanted something better than a 2x4 for the fence. I could buy the components individually, but this kit is a good mix of what's needed to get going. One nitpick: The 2 angle brackets that hold the fence to the t-slots in the table could be stronger. This results in some flex when one presses against the fence horizontally. I'll probably fix this by 3d designing/printing something a little more sturdy. ... show more

    • Terrible. The L bars they provide flex way too easily.
The L bars used to attach the fence to the table are way too weak. Easy fix by company, but for the cost of this fence, the L bars bend and don't provide a perfect 90 degree angle. I've had it for a number of months now and you do not want to purchase this item.

I was very pleased when I received this woodworking fence kit. It is a Beast!!!! Heavy duty aluminum fence, not the thin light aluminum I expected. You can see and feel the quality! Well done Powertec! I can safely recommend this product to any wood worker looking to create a DIY Drill Press Table, Tablesaw Sled or Router sled. I am very happy with the quality of the fence and 2x 24" t track with holding clamps. I have one concern the mounting bracket seems like it could be made thicker, so far no issue but may upgrade mounting bracket. I have a t track table made with Powertec t track and very happy the quality.

Used to make a tablesaw fence so is certainly versatile! Straight and liked the additional hold downs etc for assembly table. Very happy, been pleased with powertec's products so far, this is another win.

    • Approximately 1/2" IS NOT the same as exactly 1/2"
The T-bolts provided (which is at the Heart of the thing) were a bit over 1/2" wide where they Should have gone into a 1/2" STANDARD T-slot. Note to manufacturer: Exactly and Approximately ARE NOT the same things! To use this, I had to grind down each and every fastener they provided. I'm going to be Very leery about buying POWERTEC products in the future. ... show more
