I recently installed a Rockler T-track in my workbench top, and lined it up intentionally to directly match the hole placement on my Porter-Cable dovetail jig. My goal was to use the track to hold down all sorts of things, but when I use the dovetail jig, I wanted to simply slide it into the track, tighten and get to work. Unfortunately all the various knobs are too wide, since the jig was intended to be mounted to a substrate then perhaps clamped down afterwards. That is, until I tried these cam clamps! The cam clamps are easy to adjust/tighten with minimal lateral clearance. As you see in the pictures, they hold the jig down with sufficient force and serve the desired purpose. I replaced the t-track bolts that came with these with shorter bolts I had on hand. The rubber washer combined with the metal washer ensures a tight grip without pulling too hard on the mounted t-track. Of note, I've come to realize Powertec track components are identical to Rockler track components (same manufacturer), and at a smaller price! ... show more

These are really nice C-clamps for a workbench that has T-track in the surface. I have a modular workbench in my shop that I have a variety of mounts and plates that hold reloading presses, vises, saws, and other accessories. These clamps work great for all of those purposes as well as general work holding. They fit the track great and provide a secure grip. I will definitely be buying more. ... show more

I purchased this POWERTEC 4-pack of cam clamps to upgrade the hold-down system on my custom drill press table and router fence, and they are a massive improvement over standard twist-knob clamps. If you do a lot of repetitive drilling or production runs in your shop, constantly spinning knobs up and down to change out workpieces gets tedious very fast. This lever-action kit completely fixes that bottleneck. The build quality is excellent. The heavy-duty cam levers are made from a thick, durable polymer that handles heavy downward pressure effortlessly without flexing or cracking. What makes these a standout accessory is the instant quick-release function. Once you set the initial height with the low-profile flat washers, you simply flip the lever down to lock your lumber flat against the table with an absolute vice grip. Flipping the lever back up releases the stock instantly, letting you slide the next piece in place in less than a second. The included 3-inch T-track bolts feature a standard 1/4”-20 thread profile that slides flawlessly into standard miter tracks, universal T-slots, and shop-made fences without any binding or twisting sideways. The clamp feet feature a generous surface area that applies completely even holding pressure without marring or denting soft woods like pine or walnut. Finally found a solid clamp option for 1/4" T tracks that are a little narrower than standard 1/4" T track. Using these to attach the Hongdui table saw stock guides to my Bow Xtender fence. These also fit perfect in both bottom and top slots on the Wen Drill Press table.

These are very small, but hold very well. Great for when you don't have a l lot of clearance for a bigger clamp. I'm holding nearly 1" thick wood to a CNC table. Knobs to tighten them up are also small which makes it harder to turn them to tighten, but they are still workable.
