I've been living too long with just one push stick. This was a quick, low cost way to open up more options. At 9/16" wide it's thinner than what I was using so there are more possibilities. No more scanning the shop for any manner of scrap to get something done and then spend time pulling out the splinters. The grippy rubber cushion really makes a difference and seems fairly robust. Time will tell if that cushion lasts. I think it will but, even if it doesn't, this will still be usable. The handle is an inch wide with a relief for the pinky at the bottom. It's curved so its purchase presents well to the hand. The handle is not solid so there is plenty of places where dirt or sweat can escape to prevent distraction or slipping and maintain tactile feedback so there is no need to avert your eyes from your work or reposition during a process. I am pleased with the purchase as it exceeded my expectation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. ... show more

I like this style of push stick. The hand is low, right over the piece, which adds a lot of control. This stick is thin, stiff, and has a non-skid foam pad on the foot, so it won't kick out on me. They're cheap enough that the saw can eventually eat them, and I'll just get another pair. I have a bunch of different type pushing tools, some bought, some shop built. I have small hands and these are pretty comfortable to use. I always use push sticks - always - and I'm happy with these. They hold pretty tight to the wood, even if not over the back edge. I use one up front and then one at the back with the edge being pushed. (Does this even make any sense? :) )

Love that the push stick has magnets on it. It’s the only one that does, but really it’s the only one that needs them. It stays put on the fence, ready when you need it. The orange color is great so you can see it out of the corner of your eye without having to take your eyes off your piece.

These push sticks adds a level of safety to cutting small pieces on the table saw. They keep the away end of the piece from rising up as you cut it. You can make these if you use quality wood but these are narrow and have good strength.

Well I use this to push wood to be cut on a table saw. I have a couple of different style pushers, and wanted this kind, as soon as I saw it. I like to use pushers, and keep my hands, far away from the saw blade to increase safety.
