  • Wow, Wow
I had read two prior Hematology books the second one the famous Clinical Hematology Atlas by Rodack. From the first one I learned 10%, the second one 30-40% but when I opened the Atlas of Blood by Irma Pereira then I realized I how much I had been missing! This book just put the idea to gather and showed me what I was missing. Also went to more bigger pictures and details of other staining that I had not even heard of. I am so blessed with this book and a s a family Doctor this is amazing material to see first hand and not to relay on a commercial lab to do a simple peripheral smear for you (which they don't do it right most of the time). So thank you. ... show more

  • Electronic content no longer available
Nice atlas with good descriptions of the plates. However, the online content is no longer active or supported.

  • I was only disappointed in the quantity of photomicrographs
I was only disappointed in the quantity of photomicrographs; an extensive siual refernce in a easily accessible text still has advantages over on-line access that is restricted in many laboratory settings.

  • Amazing Atlas
Great set of slides. Amazing atlas to learn from for medical students, residents and fellows as well as a great resource for hematologists.
