I received these but never opened the package, they were sitting on the shelf in reserve and when I went to install them I found that they were nothing like the knives that fit my planer. Having sat on the shelf for a while it was too late to return them, my bad! These appear to be a decent quality knife they just didn't fit the Dewalt. ... show more

They were great the first few times we used them then seemed to dull quickly. However we are very hard on things and tend to use them alot so i still think they are really good.

i used these blades to retrofit an old planer that i could not buy new blades for. i had ti remodify them to fit and it came out great. Good blades for the price even though they are not heat treated they work just fine

    • Lower costs
These work pretty well for me. I use a lot of reclaimed wood and have been known for sometimes missing a piece of embedded metal. So cost is important to me. I have used a couple of sets until they were just wore out and they seem to last as long as the more expensive blades.

    • What's not to like?
blades are every bit as good as the original. I run a lot of reclaimed wood so no blades hold up for long. These hold up extremely well even under harsh conditions . When you can get two sets for less than the price of one set of original DeWalt and they perform as good or better whats not to like?

Received these blades and installed them. Unfortunately the blades seem to slide in too far for the magnet guides. Of course I didn't notice the first time I installed them and soon realized what happened during a test. After reinstalling them by tightening the bolts a bit before using the magnetic guides, everything went together as it should. Test pieces of birch worked great.
