The powertec 12-1/2 inch planer blades came very sharp, at first it just ran through the wood but after planing about 60 running foot of teak at 6" width the blade became dull and this was indicated by the chips comming out of the planer. At first the chips were clean cuts but then they appeared to be shreding the wood instead of planing it.I think i will have to resharpen them. ... show more
