This little machine works well for its intended purpose. Simple assembly, light weight. When they say for snow up to 12" deep, they mean it. If you think you are going to horse this thing through 2 feet of snow, forget it. Ask me how I know. Tried attacking a 2 foot build up and went nowhere.     • Not great for harder snow!
It did OK on fresh powder snow. It could not go deep enough in compacted snow from foot traffic down my 200' of sidewalks. Had to go back in forth to get most of it up. Make sure you spray the ice chute with any type of silicone/lubricant spray or it will clog up. It was worth the price I paid, can't imagine it lasting more than a couple years up here in NE.     • Difficult to push.
The blade bottom edge and metal runners on both corners dig into the concrete or any surface while pushing. Because the wheels are placed far to the back all of the weight of the machine is transferred forward making it very difficult to push and the harder you push the harder it digs in. disappointed with the design. ... show more

    • It's too front heavy. The leading edge digs into the pavement and is too hard to move forward.
This machine digs into the pavement and will not advance forward without a lot of effort. I would not purchase again.

Perfect for my deck in the Mountains of Colorado when it snows. Excellent quality, Easy assembly just don't forget to add engine oil . The unit does not come with engine oil , so you will have to purchase that . Once engine oil and gas was added mine started up with two pulls . This company offers this unit with electric start but I did not find it worth the upcharge . This pull start model starts easy and runs great . I've had more expensive units that did not perform as well as this unit . This unit is an exceptional product. ... show more
