Bought this for my Filipina wife to sing karaoke through at home, she loves it. She's just using it for vocals and it works very well for that, has enough power and headroom and its pretty clean sounding. I ran my phone through the bluetooth and played some mp3's and it sounds decent overall, the bass is not exceptional but it is enough. The mic pre sounds pretty good, I used a Electra Voice mic, not the one that came with it... I haven't tried it since I already had a nucer mic. The PA would probably be enough for an acoustic guitar and a vocal in a small club, it is also fine for music playback for a patio party, smaller wedding, etc... music playback and/or public speaking at a small church, a conference room, or other small event, etc... but I don't think it would be suitable for anything much larger. It's light, compact and has a SD card port, usb flash drive port, bluetooth and AM/FM radio. It only has one mic input, but you could use a small mixer with built in fx wirh it if you wanted to have multiple singers. It's a pretty nice system for the price. ... show more

I’m new to this type of equipment but I host events so I needed decent speakers I can connect to an existing speaker I have with a mixing board on it. Here’s something that might be silly, that I didn’t realize, the wireless portion allows you to bluetooth the music you want to play wirelessly. The actual speakers are not wireless. You can’t charge them and use them without them being plugged up. However, they’re still great. I saw a comment about the microphone not being good. The mic input allows you to use different types of mics. I tested a couple different mics, from wireless, to a high quality mic (which had different inputs) and they all worked with these speakers. Item received and the active speaker has no sound coming from it, contacted PYLE customer service and they told me to just return it to Amazon and order another, not helpful at all.

Bought these for meeting in a large room along with cordless microphones and they all worked great. Had great sound for the speakers and the bonus is they have a really good for music as well

I got the speakers today. They looked flimsy and cheap. The stands that came with them we're unstable and I was afraid they may flip over. The main reason for the return is that it only has one input. Returning them today. At least it was easy to do.
