Bought Used: 'Like New' for $612 with Amazon Warehouse / Sold by amazon. It came clean and with no signs of long usage. They either cleaned this up or it sat in a closet boxed up. Idk. It has been an absolute beast in comparison to my 2070super. Phenomenal. Update 04/07: Still playing Star Citizen with Vulkan and AMD FSR upscaling. Planets and cities are no longer a problem on my system and with Vulkan (fps is less, it's more stable) I can thoroughly enjoy Star Citizen. Things that a 2070 Super would struggle with (clouds, lots of ships, The Polaris) is no problem for the 7900 GRE. The extra Vram helps SO MUCH at 1440p. While that's great, I will say; it takes a 10% OC like a champ, but I'm not sure where things go wrong, it's not stable. Even a 5% OC takes it but it's not stable and eventually crashes and reverts Still a fantastic card, and I'm happy I purchased it.

Picked this up on an (accidental? shoutout to powercolorsteven) sale that put it at 7800xt pricing a bit before the latest price cuts and anticipated increased thermals and noise for what I'm used to but at stock settings it's a champ. Clean design and although I haven't pulled it apart it looks like power delivery and memory are well covered by the heatsink. Cycling through some benchmarks the temps stayed right around 65 C under full load. Coming from using nvidia for many years (my last amd card was an HD 6k model), I was super impressed with the amd software suite although a manual tune handily beat the automatic tuning options. I probably will play around a bit more but for now I settled on a 975mv undervolt, 2340 mhz mem clock, and a -10% power limit with a very gentle fan curve to keep things quiet (surprisingly I was getting basically the same benchmark scores vs the default power limit but I'm not GN, ymmv). At stock the fans were already surprisingly quiet at full load but I wanted to mess around with speeds to cut out some of the higher pitches. Idle power is on the high side for these cards afaik across all vendors and mine bounces around 20-40w on a 4k 60hz screen. Hopefully amd improves that in the future. I sort of doubt vendors can do anything on that side besides maybe help remind amd that consumers do care about that sort of thing and everybody seems to take note of the rtx 4000 series' relative power efficiency both at idle and at load. Kudos though to power color for a fantastic card.

I have been very impressed with the performance and durability of this product. It was a very simple install in my system which was nice. I was able to overclock it allowing for an extra 3% performance improvement while undervolting the component. I haven't encountered any issues in general metrics (ex. screen brightness). The only major issue i have had is playing fortnite, the drivers have made my game almost unplayable. I see this card as a great value for the performance you get. Never going back th NVIDIA.

Amazing price to performance ratio. Seemless installation, removal of nvidia drivers and installation of AMD software caused zero problems. No crashes so far. 1440p at 144hz is absolutely no problem for this card. Only thing to be concerned about it making sure your case is large enough to fit it. Besides that I would absolutely recommend getting this card over the nvidia equivalent. Save your money and make the AMD switch. Used for games such as PUBG, Rocket League & Elden Ring. All basically max settings and locked at the frame cap with no issues whatsoever.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: AMD GPUs can't run CUDA. Every cool AI app uses CUDA. I underestimated how sad that would make me.

this is my first A card for almost 20 years. the performance is great and i didn't encounter any driver issue like others say. overall, I am very satisfied with this card, only thing i wish it include a GPU support. as GPU now days is getting heavier by year. i think include a GPU support stand is needed.

My PowerColor Fighter AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE had some strange smell when it was running. I wasn't sure if that was normal or not. I will recommend being cautious if planning to purchase this. I decided to return this graphics card back for a refund because of the strange smell that concerned me.
