I purchased these because they were advertised as the only other brand that were over the ear that could play the same time with Apple Earpods. When my wife and I travel, we always take the iPad loaded with movies to make the trip go by faster. Truely like the wireless functionality as it allows me to also connect a battery pack to continue to charge the iPad on long trips. First thing I noticed was the noise cancelling of the Beats-by-Dre. They drown out the jet and passenger noise very well. Their volume and pause controls are very user friendly so I can pause the movie to listen to flight attendant instructions very easily. Got these for my boyfriend’s birthday, and he loves them! The sound is loud and clear, and they feel really sturdy. He uses them all the time at the gym, I use them too sometimes lol ,and they hold up great. Definitely a solid choice, very comfortable

Love these. Replaced a pair of old Plantronics, which were great, that I used when doing yard work, etc. These are the closest around the ear fit I could find. Had air pods and no model would stay put. Thought I preferred the tether of the old Plantronics set, but after using these I don't miss that feature. Being able to use one bud for phone conversations is great. The battery life is incredible. I've charged them fully twice since I received them. Once upon arrival and another time prior to this review - almost 2 months. They sound great as far as my expectations. I use them most often during yard work, so my only complaint is that my ear muffs don't fit over them as well as my old set. They're better at noise cancellation than my old set, but I prefer the combination the muffs plus the head set. The way they interface with my phone and watch seals the deal. If you're on the fence just give them a go. Amazon's return policy is second to none on certain things. ... show more

Let me start off by saying that I understand it is a risk to by anything that has been refurbished. With that said, I expected much more from this company. Based on my awful experience and terrible customer service, I would recommend finding somewhere else to buy whatever it is you are looking for. I purchased these headphones in late on March 30th. I had some issued with connectivity and sound out of one of the earbuds. I found that if I did a hard reset, I could usually get them back to working and thought nothing of it. However, just after the July 4th weekend, I went to get the earbuds out of the charging case and noticed that one of the earbuds snapped off while sitting in the charging case and was discovered when removing it from the charging case. I After examining it and doing a lot of research online, this should never happen! In fact, I found a website discussing people trying to "undue" these headphones to learn about the technology and they were unable to get the earbud apart...when trying to! would not be reaching out if I thought it was normal wear and tear that caused this. At this point I have to assume that this is what the "refurbished" part of the earbuds was. Given the connectivity issues all along and the way it just came apart, there is no other explanation other than they did a terrible job a fixing this earbud but were willing to sell them for $145 hoping they would hold up. In this case, they did hold up just long enough as I was one week outside of the warranty window of 90 days. I thought that the company might be understanding given that is is an obvious refurbishment gone wrong and these should have never been put back on the market. I received a very short response basically telling me that the 90 days is up so there is nothing they will do. I wrote back restating my reasoning and letting them know I would send these back for a replacement pair - I was not just looking for my money back. To this email I received an even shorter response saying the same thing. I guess in the end you do get what you pay for, just expected a lot more from the company. When it comes to buying from this company, I hope this review saves some people from making the same mistake that I did. ... show more

First off, these have terrific quality sound, and they do actually have a bit of block-out sound for ambient noise. They tend toward the treble and not the bass, and since there are no adjustments and no app that lets you adjust settings, it's good to know this before you buy. Make sure you have your Headphone Safety/Reduce Loud Audio OFF in Settings, or you won't get volume if you're driving or in noisy places. (To the Power Beats folks: That sound/bass/treble adjustment capability would be an improvement!) Overall, they hold power for a long time, they're comfy and don't fall off easily. BIGGEST DOWNSIDE: they come in a ridiculously bulky charging case. (I've tried ten diff headphones and most have much more streamlined cases for same-size, over-ear earbuds.) It's also slippery. The case doesn't fit well into a purse or bag, it's REALLY bulky for a computer case, so I always end up using an old case or throwing them in the pocket of my purse, which isn't ideal, since they can't charge. Power Beats: please streamline the case if you would!! LASTLY, these are a great buy refurbished--less than half of the $300ish at Apple, and for the money, they definitely work well.
