Crystal clear sound and great for more than just the quest

Here's a real, unpaid, and unbiased review. Yes they work as intended as there was almost no lag while gaming that you'd experience with any other headphone/earbud connected with Bluetooth and battery life is great. However i had other major issues. Mines didn't come with a dongle which almost defeats the purpose of even having them(used a friends dongle). This is the second quest 3 accessory I've gotten from amazon that was missing something in the packaging The biggest issue is they sound quality of these headphones. Absolutely trash if I'm being honest. Don't get me started on the low volume while also having dated features and design. No ANC, Unnatural commands to skip, fast fwd and rewind and turning the volume up and down is a total hassle having to twist the wheel that's implanted on the earbud. I literally felt like i was thrown back into the early 2000s with these things. One other design flaw was the bulkiness of the charging case. Massive and i have rather large hands too. These were not for me at all. If you ONLY want lag free audio then Yes, they work as intended as there's no lag and also the ear hooks are great, especially if you move a lot gaming. Everything else however gave a dated and unnatural experience that i just couldn't look past. I'm sure future versions will be better but these are getting returned with the utmost quickness.

The earbuds themselves are pretty light and aren't uncomfortable even after extended wearing sessions, they measured ~10g on my scale and fit rather loose on the ear. They don't sit particularly deep inside of the ear in my experience but stay in place pretty well with the wing going over the ear. The wireless latency is good in my experience, the latency is noticeable with rhythm games but is fine for most other games. Bluetooth latency is good as well. Not particularly noticeable when playing games, but I'd expect Bluetooth latency to be worse than with the dongle. Do note that you have to manually switch between dongle mode and Bluetooth mode and can't be connected to both simultaneously. Wireless connectivity is good, not much to comment with regards to range due to the nature of this product but in my usage it was good through several walls and obstacles at ~10m from the source. Only SBC is supported for the Bluetooth codec when I tried it on my Android phone. The battery life is exceptional, granted the size of these earbuds are pretty substantial, but I was able to go well past 8 hours of continuous usage on a single charge. The device controls are pretty simple, albeit with no way to rebind them so you're stuck with the default configuration. For the L/R earbuds there's actions bound to single-tap, double-tap, and rotating the button. The user guide shows what the different actions do. The sound tuning is also pretty good. There are 3 EQ modes, on my unit the voice prompt says Standard, Gaming, and Bass Boost. The EQ modes don't change when you take them out of the case or switch between the dongle and Bluetooth connections. The default standard mode has a good balance that sounds good for general usage, including music listening in my opinion. The gaming mode pushes up the mids a little bit and the bass boost mode adds a noticeable amount of bass, including sub-bass to my ears. Overall, a pretty good pair for VR and general usage on a PC for the price. My few issues are with the controls. Pressing the button on the earbuds with them is very loud, loud to the point where it genuinely hurts my ear. I tend to take the earbud out of my ear to actuate the button. Additionally, while pressing the button has a very tactile, and audible click, rotating the button is not. I occasionally rotate it by accident while manipulating the earbuds, such as taking it in/out of my ears, taking it out of the case, or when trying to press the button.

I'll start with the pros... The earbuds are super comfortable, the design allows it to stay put in your ears without having them fall out. Battery life is pretty good too. Sound is amazing, I'm in love with the Bass Boost preset. Now, when they are paired with bluetooth, the volume is perfect, they get pretty loud and they are perfect for media consumption. Now, when they are paired with the dongle, I'm not lying when I tell you it gets half as loud, which is a shame because they are primarily meant to be used with the dongle, specially when playing low-latency VR. Unfortunately I'll have to return them for this reason, the volume with the dongle is just not enough.

I’m really impressed with these PowerA wireless earbuds for the Meta Quest 3/3S. The over-the-ear design is comfortable and helps keep the earbuds securely in place, even during active gaming. The sound quality is excellent, thanks to the 12 mm drivers, and having three EQ modes makes it easy to adjust the audio depending on what I’m playing. I especially like the low-latency wireless connection with the included USB-C adapter. It makes the audio feel much more seamless while gaming, without the noticeable delay you can sometimes get with wireless earbuds. I also love that they can connect to compatible devices through Bluetooth, so they’re useful beyond just gaming. The battery life is another big plus, with up to 10 hours on a charge and an additional 12 hours available from the charging case. Overall, these are comfortable, versatile, and provide a really immersive audio experience. Definitely a great choice for Meta Quest gamers!

The Power A Wireless Earbuds for Meta Quest 3 and daily bluetooth connectivity, are absolutely Amazing! I honestly didn’t expect much from them for the price, but man was I wrong. The sound quality is next level. The clarity is great too. I love the comfort ear wrap. It helps hold the ear buds in place while moving around playing Meta Quest 3, but is also so comfortable, I forget I have them on. I also love their lightweight feel. Just so nice! They are also very durable. I dropped them once and not a scratch or any problems with the sound. They are adjustable and come with different sizes of ear pieces. The installation was a breeze and took hardly any time to load and use. I also really love the power storage and speed at which they charge. The clean white color is also very pleasing to the eye. So clean! The price is really reasonable for such amazing quality and versatile uses. Go get a pair, you won’t regret it.

I ordered these because the listing explicitly advertises Bluetooth compatibility for smartphones. Unfortunately, the specific pair I received is defective. My husband followed every step in the user manual to switch connection modes and initiate Bluetooth pairing, but the earbuds completely fail to broadcast a Bluetooth signal or connect to his phone. While we own and like other PowerA products, receiving a brand-new unit with broken Bluetooth functionality is disappointing. If you buy these, test all features immediately in case you get a defective pair as well.
