I live in a house with 3 kids who can be rough on controllers. After I noticed we were going through batteries like crazy, I realized the culprit was a controller that had the micro USB cable inserted improperly/bent while in use so many times that the port was more or less no longer functional, so they'd just been manually replacing AA batteries, and due to habits such as leaving the controller on when not in use, were burning through 2 batteries almost every day. Wanting to nip this unnecessary expenditure in the bud before it really started to add up, I found these. I'll be honest, I just looked for the cheapest ones I could find and called it a day. I assumed only one pack would be included at that price, but I only needed one, so it was alright. Not only did I receive TWO, a pleasant surprise, but I also realized that the packs do not charge via the controller's built-in charging port, (which was destroyed on the controller in question) but they actually have their own separate Micro USB charging port on the battery pack itself. A very convenient workaround which allowed me to essentially bypass the broken charging port and restore the otherwise good and working controller to full and proper function. Not only that, but when it was inevitably misplaced (I don't know how, considering the way you attach it to the controller mounts it on there pretty good, but these kids have never ceased to surprise me) I had a backup already ready to replace it. Excellent product, works as intended, very reasonable price, you get two, you can charge it on or off the controller via any micro USB cable, and it can also serve as a workaround if you have a damaged charging port on your controller. Great accessory for your latest Xbox if you don't want to deal with recycling or charging individual batteries. Does exactly what you want it to do, and overall good quality at very reasonable price, would recommend to anyone who's looking for a convenient charging solution for their Xbox controllers. Quality: all plastic but quite good quality. I have been using the older Xbox One version + this new one for over 3 years now and neither had any problems. Easy of use: very user friendly 'seat' for your controller that's easy to just place and connect. One knock is the indicator light is quite low so I always need to bend down to confirm it's actually charging (the light being red). Aesthetics: looks almost OEM if you are using white controllers. Nothing super fancy but blends in well with a white Series S and white controllers. Others: can block your TV a bit if your TV sits very low (see mine in picture). Something to think about and can be solved by placing it somewhere else not directly in front. 9/10 super solid purchase ... show more

I loved using these battery packs since it’s somehow 2023 and Xbox still thinks that their controller shouldn’t use rechargeable battery packs out of the box but anyways they work well technically you can fit the battery pack in an Xbox one controller but the back black panel only works with the new gen of controllers which worked well since previously all I had was last gen controller battery packs ... show more

It’s not bad! Fits well on my desk. It’s biggest pro is that it just looks good. Doesn’t look cheap, and almost “presents” your controller to you. Battery life is decent, and it charges fairly quickly. It does feel flimsy however. The ability to change from charging mode to “presenting mode”, or whatever is called, is nice. But, the action of pressing down on the charger is very unsatisfying. It’s whobbly, and cheap feeling. But, overall, I don’t think that should play into your purchasing decision, unless you care that much. It works, it looks nice, and is affordable. ... show more

First, I was tired of using those throw away batteries. So anything would’ve been better. This thing though. Holy. First I didn’t read much reviews but let me explain the stand has a feature where you click down to charge with a glowing led indicator to show state of charge. Or you can press it and have it just be a stand. A neat thing I didn’t even know it did. next you get two covers for each gen of controller. Also neat!
