I have about 20 of these now and none have failed. I use them mostly in audio devices (wireless microphones, portable recorders, and mixers, etc.) They clearly have much more power than NiMH rechargeables, and because they deliver 1.5V instead of the 1.2V you get from other rechargeables, some devices work considerably better (shavers, portable LED lights, etc.) The only real downside is that because these cells have their own internal voltage regulator for a constant 1.5V, you never know how much charge remains. If your device shows the battery level, it will always show full until the charge is completely gone. Also, note that any rechargeable AA or AAA Li-Ion cell requires a charger that dows 1.5V. You should not try to charge them on a charger meant for NiMH.

We have several devices around our house that depend on AA batteries. The biggest power hogs are the two cordless toothbrushes. In the past, I had tried NiCad and NiMH rechargeable batteries, they didn't seem as poweful to begin with they always seemed to run down quickly, se wen back to single-use alkaline batteries. These lithium AA's recharge quickly and seem to be at least as powerful as any alkaline, and they seem to run longer. So far, they been through about 5-6 recharge cycles and still goiong great. We are vey happy with this substitution.

These do not hold their charge or quite as much charge as long or as much as a non- rechargeable Everyready . Other than that You likely do save money and the environment using them . I have gone to all rechargeable of the same brand . I think it is best to stay with all the same brand because the same brand chargers are going to work best most likely .

Kratax 1.5 volt AA batteries do not work. Placed in holiday ornaments and within 2 days they started turning off and on, Some times return to on as bright and some times as dim lights then quit altogether. Total time to failure about 10 hours. Batteries still show charge but will not run lights. I would have returned them but missed my return date by 2 days since I got them for the holidays and just started to use them this week.
