  • Good controller, bad shipping
Style: Black
I purchased a second controller for my family. This was supposed to be new. It came in a box with the seals cut, different packing than the original inside (allowed the controller to bounce around in the box) and was missing the charging cord. Not sure yet if I will return it since it is for the kids. Received a replacement and it works great! ... show more

  • Quite nice!
Style: Black
I have a very unique take on controllers because I do esports. Basically, all of my equipment gets put through the wringer, especially my controller. However, this thing has stood up to it pretty well. It responds well and isn’t prone to sticking. It can pick up on very slight movements. Connecting to switches, even several different ones, is not an issue unlike other controllers I have tested. It also has a nice feel in the hands. It might be a tad large for smaller hands, though. I have noticed a slight issue where it will occasionally move to the left but this is relatively uncommon and easily fixed by turning the controller on and off. I have yet to have it impact gameplay. One thing I have yet to be able to test is how it holds up over time but I have been using this controller for several hours a day every day for a month and have not noticed any wear-related issues. If I remember to, I’ll edit this later with an update. Overall, this is quite a nice controller. There’s no bells and whistles but it does exactly what it says it does. Works just fine for casual or more intense play, even esports. ... show more

  • Love it so much!
Style: Zelda Midnight Ride
It's so pretty for starters. I was worried the design would get quickly worn on from use and its not showing any signs of wear, so good quality. It's very comfortable to use and super easy to set up. Light weight. Charges fairly quickly and the charge lasts for a very long time. I'm very happy with this controller. I'm very pleased it came with a 10ft charging cable too. I wish I'd paid attention that its not amiibo compatible, but that's on me so this definitely gets all the stars 😊. It's perfect and I love it. Totally worth the money. ... show more

  • Great controller until drift set in...
Style: Black
Updated 7/28/23 Received a replacement on this controller and have had no problems thus far. Great company to work with. I want to give this controller 3.5 stars only because I'm buying another one, on sale. This controller didn't even last me a year as it began drifting a few days before its anniversary. Compressed air didn't help it. You can't recalibrate through the Switch even though it is a Nintendo licensed product. I will also point out that it appeared to drift not long after I first had it, but noticed that if you connect it while not in direct sight of the Switch or with one of the directional sticks pressed, it will appear as if drift has set in. Disconnecting/resetting corrected it, but that is no longer the case anymore. It definitely appears that drift has set in permanently. I think this IS a great controller for its feel and functionality, especially for how long it retains its charge, but really disappointed it didn't last a year. I would never pay full price for it. ... show more

  • Responsive support
Style: Zelda Midnight Ride
Left thumb stick stopped working after 2 months. Filled out product support form and it just cleared the form after hitting submit without submitting the support request. There doesn’t seem to be an actual way to get support. Edit: The product support form apparently did go through and the company has been quite responsive. Other than this issue, the controllers I purchased work very well and are actually my preferred way to play on the switch. If the issue can be resolved, I'll probably end up upgrading my review to 5 stars. ... show more

  • Good first impressions
Style: Black
Took it out of the box and put an hour of play time on it right away. Responsive, no lag (as far as I can tell), comfortable. Feels to be the same quality of a pro controller, just slightly different in the ergonomics. The buttons and the triggers are a little bit different, and the two programmable buttons on the back are every present in your mind as you play since your index fingers rest on them perfectly. For me, I can't really think of when I would use them, but it's nice to know they're there if I ever do. Actually, I did think of a way I'd use them right away. Mario wonder, the run and wall jump challenges. I hated those levels because of the way you could only set the controls to A and B or B and Y (or whatever). Now, one of those is on my unused index finger on the back without me having to slide my finger awkwardly. ... show more

  • Better Options Out There For Budget Switch Controllers
Style: Black
Got 2 of these and both developed minor drift a couple months in. Fingerprint smudges appear very easily on the d-pad and the plastic surface in front(where the bumpers and port are). Buttons are a bit stiffer than I’d like(mostly preference). The joystick accumulates dust and dirt in the concave curve in the middle of the joystick very easily and the rubber material accumulates damages from nails easily overtime too. With that said, it is relatively cheap, connects very easily to the Switch, decent battery life, no noticeable input delay, d-pad feels really nice, and ergonomics are excellent. For the price though, there are much better options out there for approximately the same price(or cheaper during sales) such as the 8BitDo controller and FLYDIGI Direwolf 3. ... show more
