I put these in to replace a leaky caliper on my 2005 Tacoma. I figured if I could do it in powder-coated style, even better (I even paint matched the rear drums while I had the wheels off). These are rebuilt, which is the equivalent of what you might get elsewhere at a parts store. Maybe a bit dicey if you're paying to have them installed (see other reviews) but these seem great. We shall see over time. If they don't last at least five years I will be back to update my review!

I replaced the calipers on my Toyota FJ and these came to me very well put together, or so I thought. After the brake job was done, I drove and bedded the new pads and rotors together. It was afterward that I found that one of the new calipers was leaking fluid. It was all over the wheel and tire which is not a good thing as brake fluid is very caustic. I contacted PowerStop and they had no problem sending me a new one. I was worried because we were taking a vacation but I notified them on Friday and had it in my hands on Monday. Great job to PowerStop customer service. I was disappointed that QC didn't catch the issue with the caliper but all is well. This is the second vehicle that I have replaced the calipers, rotors and pads onion the past two months. The GTI got PS as well and it stops on a dime and gives you 5 cents back.. It will likely give you whiplash. Love it.

The media could not be loaded. 2007 Toyota 4Runner. I installed these front calipers Wednesday only to find that the driver’s side caliper began leaking at the top where the two halves meet. I called Amazon who shipped a replacement mat no cost. Two days later the second set of front calipers were delivered. The installed the driver’s side and this one leaked out of the threads where the brake line screws in. Amazon will not ship a second replacement for an order (policy or something similar). I double checked everything and in the end reinstalled my old worn out caliper to make sure I had no leaks, and it didn’t. The old caliper never leaked so if it still didn’t leak it proved the power stop calipers are pure trash. I would add that I received the rotors and pads a few days earlier and the right front rotor was rusted and corroded. I bought these based on reviews and a recommendation, but would not purchase again.

Easy install .To bleed turn on truck downt start ! Then bleed all 4 corners? Fill fluid up then you can stop!
