I put these in to replace a leaky caliper on my 2005 Tacoma. I figured if I could do it in powder-coated style, even better (I even paint matched the rear drums while I had the wheels off). These are rebuilt, which is the equivalent of what you might get elsewhere at a parts store. Maybe a bit dicey if you're paying to have them installed (see other reviews) but these seem great. We shall see over time. If they don't last at least five years I will be back to update my review! ... show more

Easy install .To bleed turn on truck downt start ! Then bleed all 4 corners? Fill fluid up then you can stop!

Don't kid yourself, these are OEM calipers powder coated red. The coating on mine seems pretty good. The internals may be higher grade materials, I don't know. What I do know, is one of the calipers didn't get the hole for the brake line threaded correctly. Didn't want to chase it with a tap and risk getting metal filings in the brake fluid, so I held the flare down against its seat and forced the nut in. The threads were straight and consistent, but contained an error, which caused the first two or three to not line up with the rest. If you're doing a 4Runner, Tacoma, GLX, or FJ Cruiser, you're going to want Toyota part # 4731435320. Even if you're able to break the nut on that little S shaped hard line loose, they're likely to break. The lines on mine were rusted to the nut and fell apart as I removed it. Overall I like the product, and combined with the EBC kit that comes with green pads and slotted + dimpled rotors, it was a huge improvement in braking performance. Minus one star for bad threads. Minus stars in ease of install for the same, and for the springs poking holes in the bag, scattering the tiny R-pins/cotter pins in the box. Those tiny pins need to be in their own bag. ... show more

    • Leaking driver’s front caliper
The media could not be loaded. 2007 Toyota 4Runner. I installed these front calipers Wednesday only to find that the driver’s side caliper began leaking at the top where the two halves meet. I called Amazon who shipped a replacement mat no cost. Two days later the second set of front calipers were delivered. The installed the driver’s side and this one leaked out of the threads where the brake line screws in. Amazon will not ship a second replacement for an order (policy or something similar). I double checked everything and in the end reinstalled my old worn out caliper to make sure I had no leaks, and it didn’t. The old caliper never leaked so if it still didn’t leak it proved the power stop calipers are pure trash. I would add that I received the rotors and pads a few days earlier and the right front rotor was rusted and corroded. I bought these based on reviews and a recommendation, but would not purchase again. ... show more

    • I so wanted these but they failed
Amazon helped me but I wound out loosing so much money on labor as I paid to have these put on and appon leaving garage 100 feet one caliper failed as fluid poured out of the welded seam as the factory didn’t pressure test these. I had to pay labor 2 more times to remove these and then pic up local calipers and pay to put those in so I can get home. Sad out so much money because powerstop factory quality control failure and now I have crappy new auto part store calipers in because my original calipers only 2 out of 4 pistons worked and at the time I had them instal powerstop sloted rotors and carbon pads and didn’t want to ruin them. ... show more

Matched these with PowerStop rotors and brake pads on my 2007 FJ Cruiser. Much better performance than OEM and they look great!
