  • Great support
Style: Half rack with lat pulldown
The box came missing some items. This happens with deliveries sometimes. It’s all about how the company responds, and this one responded quickly. The product wasn’t too difficult to assemble and so far works as advertised.

  • Not bad Not bad
Style: Half rack with lat pulldown
Came in 2 big boxes and it was heavy as expected. It was also intimidating at first when you open the boxes and see all the pieces and instructions, but it was built in 4 hrs without any problems. It is very sturdy and holds its balance well as the bottom frame is wide. It doesn't weigh a ton after it is built and can be manuevuered around with some help. No wobbling or weak spots as I could tell. The frame is pretty much firm. I did notice after tightening some bolts the paint was starting to chip and bubble around it. So they must of used cheap paint or not let it cure.. I'd prefer having tight screws than worrying about paint so it is what it is. This set comes with a lot of accessories and I think it's not a bad deal considering an annual gym membership cost. Overall quality of the pull cords and pulley system is pretty good. I had to lubricate the chrome slides that the weights go up and down on with silicone spray and it glides like butter. Something they must of gotten mixed up on were the red bar support brackets were sent wrong. I got 2 of the same side. They are suppose to latch to the frame on opposite sides as the instructions show. It still mounts on the opposite frame bars but just latches on from the same side so it still does what it's suppose to, so it's not a big deal. I would recommend. ... show more

  • It’s what I need it to be. It’s what I need it to be.
Style: Half rack with lat pulldown
I love it! It’s everything I hoped it to be. Me and my son put it together in less then 1 hr. No stress. One pulley did come cracked. The seller responded fast and is shipping me a new pulley. I just used it this morning for my back workout.

  • Top Pulley
Style: Half rack with lat pulldown
Works great and easy assemble. I'd only change the opening for the overhead pulley, it's not really useful beyond pretty much straight down pulling.

  • First impressions - it seems great First impressions - it seems great
Style: Half rack with lat pulldown
I was a bit worried with only one other review and nothing online about this rack so hopefully my review can fix that issue for someone else. I bought this because I wanted a squat rack but needed the pulley, and a full cage seemed overkill for my needs. First results it seems pretty sturdy. I’d say it took be about 4.5 hours to set up (came in two heavy boxes) but to my fault I did have to take it apart twice to fix something because I read the instructions slightly wrong. Pull-up bar seems to hold my weight fine (175lbs). I will have to oil the chrome bars the pulleys use but otherwise the pulley system seems good. My only concern I will say is that I have fear the pegs that hold the weight + the pegs for the pulley won’t hold the weights with the tension, but as of right now I haven’t had issues with that so I will come across that if it happens. Right now, I have 3 plates (135lbs) on them and it isn’t breaking yet so that’s a good sign. I will update in the future once I use it more. Hope my photos help since I couldn’t find any of this rack online. ... show more

  • For the price pretty good
Style: Half rack with lat pulldown
First and foremost if you are a serious weight lifter and like to go heavy, you probably will want to pass on this and get one a good bit more expensive that is better quality. I bought this because me and my brother had a cage that he wanted to move to his house. That cage while old was a heavy duty solid sturdy rack similar in style to this one minus the pulley system, but the big difference is that the old one I could throw weights around, sling around on the pull up bar, bump into it and it would never budge. This rack feels like a toy compared to that one. However, in my old age(33yr old) I have decided to focus more on lower weight controlling negative motion and slightly higher rep count, so I am not having any issues with this rack, but it just has a cheap flimsy feel to it. I am sure it can handle anything I am doing, but again if you go super heavy and like to throw your weights around you may want to be careful. The pulley system is decent, again I don't know if I would trust going super heavy with it, but it has done well and was one of the main things I wanted from this particular rack, since I no longer do squats due to back issues and instead I have a nice leg press/hack squat machine that I use instead of regular squat lifts. I also have a pull up/dip station as well, so I do not use the pullup bar on this. I also mainly do dumbbell bench press workouts, so I rarely even use the rack. The landmine attachment works well and I love using it and again the pulley system for what I've used it for with pull downs, row, tricep exercises has worked well. The assembly was extremely easy, and I was able to put it together by myself in less than 2 hours, but I would recommend using a ratchet to tighten bolt/nuts, but there really wasn't anything difficult for one person to assemble. You will likely need to put something to grease up the bars where the weight holder slides up and down when using the pulley system. I had to force everything down into place and when it was fully assembled pulling on the cord couldn't even move it because it was so tight. I added something to grease it up and move it up and down a couple times and then it started gliding smoothly, however I feel I will likely have to reapply something every so often. Ultimately, for me personally as seriously as I lift and because I am used to high quality equipment, I would not buy it again, but I also feel like it will be adequate for what I need. For the casual lifter this is a good option for a reasonable price. ... show more

One of the best additions to my home gym this year for strength training is this machine. I've been able to do a range of exercises with it, such as bent-over rows, military presses, squats, seated cable rows, lat pull-downs, landmines, and a variety of pull-ups. I wish I had gotten the bench with mine. ... show more
