Pretty self explanatory when applying the decals. The PS decal is almost a 1:1 ratio, minimizing the possibility of misplacing it. Following the outline already on the console is a perfect guide when placing the PS Decal. The Light Decal is relatively easy to apply and very forgiving if you don’t align it correctly the first time. I aligned the Light Decal as close to the outside edge of the light. The decal is actually wider than the PS5’s light so light escaping or misplacing shouldn’t be a big concern. However, after putting the plates on and turning the console on, some white light is just barely visible but not noticeable under normal circumstances. In rest mode, the orange light cannot pass through the decal so it’s not visible at all, if that matters. Overall, easy applications and good modifications for the PS5. No complaints. Reference to the photos for what to expect.

This was easy to install, I followed the instructions on the company’s website, there’s an instructional video that shows how to install the stickers. Now I can use my PlayStation without the annoying blue lights distracting me when I’m playing, and I can put my console into rest mode without the stupid yellow lights showing. I have my PlayStation in my bedroom and now I can sleep without the lights from the console keeping me awake. Thank the lord for this product, since Sony decided not to include any option to turn off the lights within the PS5’s configuration settings. The bonus decal included with the blackout stickers is cool too, now I have an actual PlayStation logo visible.

Was finally able to get a PS5, just to find out it has a stylish "Rest Mode" light that makes it impossible to get any rest (for sensitive partners). This did a decent job of covering the L-shaped light bars. It wasn't the easiest to apply and the sticker covers the lights juuust barely, I re-applied it probably 3 times; I suppose a positive would be that it retained its stickiness on each try. **MINOR labor complaint: Since you need to fully power it on and off in order to comfortably remove the plates to test out if the decal is working, this required 3 passes of the unplug-disassembly-assembly process. On the attempt that we deemed acceptable, it still wasn't perfect, but this seemed like a less wasteful alternative to buying an entire roll of blackout window film and cutting out my own. It's pretty great that this company even offers this, but for $15 for a STICKER, it's not perfect. If it had maybe a little more material on the edges, then it'd do a better job. We're satisfied with the effects, but it doesn't "black out" as advertised. Or maybe Sony can give us the option to adjust the intensity of the light... (I get that they want you to know when it's in sleep mode)

Both the logo underlay and the light decal work great! Very easy to put on plus includes a link to a video tutorial on how to put it on. Note for anyone mentioning light leak: i got some light leak at first but then realigned the decal and it was much better. My tip is to make sure that the part of the decal where the colors are is all the way to the edge of the front to the point where its sticking out a tiny bit, which lets it cover the whole thing.

Was very easy to install, took me about 10 minutes and the instructions are easy to understand. Only annoying thing is that the light decal came bent during shipping so it was a little bit harder for me to apply, but that’s Amazon’s fault and not the seller. Overall I’m really satisfied with this product!!

It changes the color of your power light. Since the light isn’t that bright to begin with you shouldn’t expect it to light up the whole room. Fits well and looks exactly like the picture they post.
