This was a great choice for the Portable Generator we needed! I had no idea which one we should try, so I read lots of Reviews first. This one is easy to set up and easy to use as well! The instructions tell you what Electrical Cords are needed, as well as the type of Gas Can and Oil. I am pretty happy with this jenny. we live offgrid and i have been through at least six champion 4400 watt machines. This unit beats them on several points. 2/3 the weight, far more economical, no carbon monoxide shutoff, economy setting , smaller size and just as if not quieter and as powerful . my only gripe is the fuel tank needs to be one gallon larger as this one gets hungry at 4am after running the ac a couple hours . all in all i am pleased . i can’t vouch for how reliable it is yet, but there’s over 100 hours now and no trouble . all in all good. Now we’re over 200 hours and i can’t be happier. easily runs fridge, freezer, ac and even the microwave all at the same time without brownout . I even ran my little harbor freight welder off of it ( by itself ) without any problems. these inverter type jenny’s are so much more effiecient, i wish id been getting them long ago. ... show more

This is a great little generator and works well. The hardest part was taking the brackets off as one side is really hard to get to, so a better design would be appreciated to help get those off easer. apart from that small caveat, it runs good and starts quickly. do yourself a favor and run synthetic oil, it runs better and longer and starts faster especially in cold weather. If you are storing it for long periods, make sure the carb is ran dry and if it still has gas in tank, use stabilizer to keep gas fresh. I would purchase again and for the price, its worth it. ... show more

Well so far it has run every weeknight for 3 weeks straight, I change the oil weekly just out of preventative maintenance due to 60 hours of use a week. It handles my camper I live in weekly for work quite well, the cost was low, so I wasn't expecting it to be the best unit in the world. It is a bit loud but nothing horrible. It's also a little harder on fuel than it says, but all in all it works! I gave it 4 stars based on reliability, ease of use, size, easy to start, and it does come with a funnel to put new oil in! I buy this generator when there was a hurricane in jamaica and we have power cut for couple months. It has good battery life it's very easy to start. It burn gas very good and supply power to the house. Every on half tank of gas it's last for couple hours. It's low on the noise.

I think, for the price, you can't go wrong. If you have a 30 amp rv, this is the one for you. This generator starts within 3 pulls. The choke is backwards. That is something I got overwith in seconds. Very easy to use. It's 100 out, and it's keeping the camper nice and cool. It's been running for a few hours and is sitting at 1/2 a tank. Some videos I've seen say it last longer. It's on eco mode. Sound, well, I can hear it over the a/c unit. That i didn't think I would. So it's loud, it's a bargain at this price. You need to take time and check everything the startup book tells and showed you ! Once you get it clear it starts easy ! With the 4 wheel cart purchased with it makes it easy to move around and store ! Use good gas ! There is two on switches 1 ror gas and 1 for motor !!
