I am pretty happy with this jenny. we live offgrid and i have been through at least six champion 4400 watt machines. This unit beats them on several points. 2/3 the weight, far more economical, no carbon monoxide shutoff, economy setting , smaller size and just as if not quieter and as powerful . my only gripe is the fuel tank needs to be one gallon larger as this one gets hungry at 4am after running the ac a couple hours . all in all i am pleased . i can’t vouch for how reliable it is yet, but there’s over 100 hours now and no trouble . all in all good. Now we’re over 200 hours and i can’t be happier. easily runs fridge, freezer, ac and even the microwave all at the same time without brownout . I even ran my little harbor freight welder off of it ( by itself ) without any problems. these inverter type jenny’s are so much more effiecient, i wish id been getting them long ago. ... show more

Well so far it has run every weeknight for 3 weeks straight, I change the oil weekly just out of preventative maintenance due to 60 hours of use a week. It handles my camper I live in weekly for work quite well, the cost was low, so I wasn't expecting it to be the best unit in the world. It is a bit loud but nothing horrible. It's also a little harder on fuel than it says, but all in all it works! I gave it 4 stars based on reliability, ease of use, size, easy to start, and it does come with a funnel to put new oil in! I bought this generator to run power tools while working on a house, and it performed better than expected. It handled everything smoothly without bogging down, even under load. Easy to start, runs steady, and feels reliable for job site use. Definitely a solid purchase if you need dependable power! Very fuel efficient and the noise level was not that bad to me. This generator was used in an older part of the neighborhood where there are a lot of retired folks and I didn’t have not one complaint from the noise. I like this better than my Champion inverter ,it is light and very quiet. It handles my hammer drill and air compressor start ups with no issues. Cheap enough not junk, starts easy ! I bought to drill rocks and run electric chainsaws. The reversed choke labeling was easy fix with label maker!

Starts good runs good with a couple draw backs. Choke lever in marked backwards. Fuel tank is too small. Worked great for cool weather off grid camping. Start it in the morning and run it two or three hours to charge camper battery, run the coffee maker and mircowave. Start it up in the evening to charge battery for the night and use the mircowave to heat up a meal. Hot weather in Texas calls for running the ac. 13500 btu ac 5 1/2 to 6 hours runtime on a tank of gas. Depending on how often the compressor kicks in. Day time refuling is not a problem but middle of night is a hassel. Auxiliary fuel tank might solve the issue. ... show more

I love this, Small and compact. I filled it with oil, started it and let it run for 35 minutes. After it cooled off I changed the oil on the first run on a new motor. As a woman this will work perfectly for camping and power outages at home. It was a great price for what I need it for.
