Best of the best! I tried several other companies, and this is the ONLY brand I came across that is high quality material, comfortable, covers the full forearm, and fits both smaller and larger arms. Let's break that down. High quality material: this is strong and durable without any pilling or unraveling. MANY other companies have huge issues in that department. Comfortable: the material is soft and smooth. Competitors often have itchy and even hard material (think metal embedded sleeves, which is fine for what metal embedded sleeves do, but they do not offer the same comfort as these do). Covers the full forearm: THIS, this is a BIG win for the product. If you are around 6 feet or taller, a sleeve of this size might be one, if not the only option to fully cover the forearm, at least from what I came across. Plenty of companies claim they fit the full forearm and plenty of companies are severely mistaken when it comes to taller people. This product truly has the size to allow for this. Fits both smaller and larger forearms: Pretty much every company I came across claims this, but only a few deliver on this. Many companies use yarn with very limited elasticity and thus very limited fit range. The same is true for metal embedded sleeves (though that is more understandable for them, considering what they are ultimately designed to do). So, the only companies that seem to have good fit range are ones with significant elasticity. If you have somewhat larger arms, they will fit fine, if you have bodybuilder arms, they will still fit comfortable enough but slightly more snug, if you are a teenager with a medium build they would likely fit fine, and my guess is only a very young child might be a little too small for these, but everyone else should pretty much be OK. At this time, I cannot give 5 stars to the sun protection feature or breathability, but they were VERY comfortable and stayed up throughout my run (even under my jacket).     • Ladies--Don't get a "farmer's tan"!

I live on a big ranch and love the outdoors. But I don't love having a "farmer's tan" (pale everywhere but my face/neck/arms). After a skin cancer diagnosis, I finally got serious about protecting my skin and had the extra perk of looking cosmetically better too. Initially I bought the Shinymod three pack in black/white/light blue. LOVED them! Not only did they keep my arms from getting darker, but they really helped to keep me cooler in the 100 degree Texas heat. I'd just pour a little water on them and I'd be comfortable for a half hour or more while they dried. I loved them so much I decided I wanted to wear them in public off the ranch so I ordered these "skin tone" colored ones to wear at the ball park, the beach, etc. They are worth every penny and I'll be buying more when these wear out. The ones I wear for ranch work are still going strong after 6 months of intense fence repair, gardening, and animal care. Hint: To clean them I put a few drops of mild detergent in a jar with some water, add the "sleeves", and shake like crazy. Then I just rinse and hang to dry. I used to wear a long sleeve shirt but with a huge number of "freebie" t-shirts to ruin with ranch work, these great sleeves are perfect!! I highly recommend them. ... show more

These are perfect. They do not fall down the arm. They hold in place well, under a short sleeve shirt. I use them when driving long distances in the car so my arms and hands do not get sunburned. Used them for the first time today. I pulled them all the way up to about half bicep. As soon as I started moving they rolled down to just above the crease of the elbow. Never went lower. It was a cooler than normal day here in Florida, 98* in the shade. I felt cooler. So I guess they work. The other concern is the thumb hole.
