Starts on one pull every time. Been running this for 40+ hours a week for a month and a half with out issue. Does the work of generators twice its size. Runs a window air conditioner refrigerator and induction cook plat all at the same time! I have no idea why the seller used the phrase "open flame" in title, there is no open flame it's the same as every other gas powered generator. Awesome ... show more

    • Had to repair it right out of the box.

After the generator was delivered, I prepared it for operation per the manual with oil and fuel. However, it was very difficult to start and would not stay running for more than a minute or so. After two days of trying to get it to run I was ready to return it. As a last resort and at risk of voiding the warranty, I took off the air filter box. I discovered the fuel supply line was so short that it was crimped at the inlet to the carburetor, thereby severely restricting the fuel flow. I went to the nearest parts store and bought a piece of fuel line and replaced the deficient one. The generator now starts and runs great but had to re-install two frame bolts that rattled out onto the floor. I tested it by plugging in a few tools and it works well. Should be a great value if no other deficiencies are encountered, but the manufacture would certainly benefit from a quality check/control program. ... show more
