I've been eating Power Crunch bars on and off for many years. I rely on them when I am cutting back on sugar. These make for an excellent treat if you happen to like the wafer style cookies (or even kitkats). You know.. that style that normally come in vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate. Except these are coated. I would buy a pack, and gobble them all up. Loads of sugar and calories later with no other nutrient value, I would feel a little gross in my belly. So Power Crunch really saves the day. I can use them as a treat, or as a means for boosting protein. I truly enjoy these, and dont just look at them as a consolation prize. I love vanilla, so this flavor is my favorite. I haven't met a variety I haven't liked, but the vanilla is my jam. Not too sweet, not too "protein powder" tasting (that can otherwise ruin a good looking healthy snack bar), and I can stop at one. Which is good because they are 220 calories a piece, not that far off from a regular candy bar. BUT, it isnt loaded with sugar (just 5 added sugars, same as a gummy vitamin), and it is a good size. I feel satisfied with one. The sweetness level is low on these. If you are used to eating lots of sweet things, then this may taste more bland. I find that true of most things when I switch from sugar laden diet to a sugar restricted diet. Takes awhile for taste buds to adjust. So keep that in mind if you are just starting off and are looking for treat alternatives. If you have been cutting sugar, then this is a perfect level of sweet. Just enough to be tasty, yet not enough to be cloying. LOVE IT SO MUCH I would love to see the bar made into two sticks, or two squares.

My opinion only: I have tried all currently available flavors except cinnamon, chocolate chip cheesecake and coconut. Vanilla seems to be the best and it comes with 14g protein where all other flavors have 13g. I would not recommend any of the chocolate flavors especially the choc mint, unless you want to feel like someone poured battery acid in your stomach. Chocolate peanutbutter seems to be the easiest to tolerate if you have to go with a chocolate flavor and Red Devil's cake is pretty mild. The absolute worst flavors for me have been the strawberry: it has a very weird alcohol like smell to it, and salted caramel: this flavor has an identical odor to a Roach Motel. After Vanilla, I found I can tolerate the Peanutbutter flavor and find the Lemon Meringue to be oddly appealing although the coating on those are reminiscent of inadvertently getting sprayed in the face with Pledge. I heard there were limited releases of Orange and Key Lime, but never got to try those either. The fruit flavored ones seem to be a lot more crumbly than others; they do not hold together as well as Choc, Van and P'nut butter flavored ones. Do yourself a favor, put the entire box in the fridge. When it's time to have one, take it out of the fridge, remove the entire wrapper and break the entire bar into bite sized pieces before it warms up to room temp. Otherwise, you'll have melted whey everywhere and lose some of the protein you just paid for. Don't store them in your gym or handbag and don't plan to keep one in the car unless you live in a place with snowy winters. To try new flavors, go to Walmart and by the 5 bar box, then if you like that flavor, come back to Amazon and get the 12 bar box for the best price. I nearly bought the 12 bar Strawberry from Amazon but opted for the smaller 5 bar box at Wally's and I am so very glad I did because I don't think I could have choked 11 more Strawberry ones down after the first one. On to cheesecake, cinnamon and coconut!

Let me say these bars are the best bars I’ve had in the industry. Taste: pleasant crunch wafer taste. Texture: Always crunch with a filling that gives a little extra. Price: still better than most protein bars Compared to the industry , these bars are great. Would recommend them to everyone to try.
