Would Buy Again
Very good quality. Quick and easy to change weights (large plates only). Quiet when in use. Works great with the PowerBlock Large Compact Stand (much more stable than it appears). The only cons are that adding the 2.5 lb weights is a bit cumbersome. And when both 2.5 lb weights are added to the dumbbell, you can feel that the dumbbell isn't balanced. Everything considered, I would definitely buy them again.

Great portable and space-saving option!
Easy to use space saving and portable option. Right amount of weight versus the 25lb, I ended up lifting more than I thought I would over a shorter bit of time. Square shape is a little awkward at first but I got used to it after a couple of months. Thank your delivery person, it arrives in two boxes each box is 50lbs each. If you can't lift a 50lb box ensure you have help or a rolling dolly type device to get the box inside. Replacement parts available on product brand website. Excellent quality and great option, would buy other items from this company.

if your serious about working out you will outgrow them get the pro exp instead.
these weights are good but i would have chosen a different model if i could go back in time. these are unable to expand past 50 pounds and after 2 plus years of seriously working out my muscles have outgrown them. i can easily press more than 50 pounds for chest, traps and shoulders unless it's lateral raises. so now they're mostly for bicep work etc. wish i would have got the pro exp series instead especially if you become serious about working out. they will be fine at first but for me after 2 years i have outgrown them. they really should have made an option to expand the pro 50

Perfect space saving dumbbell for your home gym
I knew I needed commercial-grade, high-quality gear that could keep up with quick transitions without holding me back. These weights consistently outperform the popular dial-adjustable alternatives on the market, proving they are worth every penny. The most significant difference is the indestructible steel build quality. Those common dial systems rely on delicate internal plastic gears and fragile selector tabs that always feel like they are one drop away from snapping. In contrast, the PowerBlocks use a simple, heavy-duty magnetic selector pin and premium urethane-coated plates that handle heavy, daily use effortlessly. Another major flaw of dial models is their static length. Their bulky footprint remains exactly the same even if you are only lifting five pounds, making them incredibly awkward to maneuver. The PowerBlock actually shrinks as you reduce the weight, keeping the dumbbell compact, perfectly balanced, and out of your way for every single lift. Finally, the open-handle design is a total game-changer. Other adjustable systems often feel caged and severely restrict natural wrist movement, but the Pro 50 gives my wrists plenty of room to articulate properly during dynamic, fast-paced movements.

Well-made, flexible set
Others have commented on the comfort and usability of this set, with which I concur. Note that, as of June 2024, the list of possible weight combinations for these dumbbells is incorrect, both on Amazon and the manufacturer's website. 19 different weights per dumbbell are possible: every weight combination between 2.5 and 50 lbs in 2.5 lb increments. It is this capability that caused me to choose this set over several others, since for certain exercises, this degree of fine-grained control is valuable to me. The PowerBlock dumbbells that have 10 lb plates are not quite so configurable; settings like 22.5 or 32.5 lbs are not possible with those. They are possible with this set. Note, however, that this set cannot be expanded beyond 50 lbs. That's not an issue for me -- I'd rather have the more flexibility configurability.

Convenient and Easy to use.
I am 66 years old and decided to invest in my health by purchasing these adjustable dumb bells. In the past, I have used "Go Fit" stretch tubing for my work out. I used them for years. I am very happy with my decision to go with these adjustable weights. 50 lbs. was all I needed. The exercise benefits with these weights are so much better than the stretch tubes. In addition to the weights I purchased the Power Block Sports Table and a stand for the weights. All the Power Block equipment is first rate. Along with the equipment, they have great videos showing you how to exercise (I enjoy the 24 minute full Body workout video by Clark Bartram). They have many other videos showing you what exercises to do with their equipment. I had to call their support team on the first day of receiving Pro50. The team was professional and very helpful. I felt like I was part of company that cared about their customers and was quality oriented. I highly recommend the PowerBlock Pro 50 and any product that this company sells.
