I love this desk! After endless searching and a couple of desks that didn't work in my space, this is great. I live in a one-bedroom condo so a desk had to go in my living room. My place is all monochromatic with black, white, and silver/grey. And I needed something airy and not bulky. FedEx delivered almost a week early. It's very easy to assemble. It took an hour from unpacking it, assembling it, and taking out the trash! Assembly advice - attach the back of the glass onto the back of the desk first for alignment. The back of the desk had reinforcement bars so you want to get the glass attached there first and then the front can be manipulated. I made the mistake of doing the front first and couldn't align the back. So I removed the front screws, attached the back, and redid the front (which added to the time). I like this desk. Ordered this one after a similar desk was backordered for over a month. This one arrived quickly and packed well. All parts included. Assembly took a little longer than expected as the holes didn't quite line up. However if you wait to tighten the screws/bolts until all are in place you should be ok. This arrived yesterday and it only took about 15 minutes to put together. However, it might be hard to assemble alone, so having someone else around to hold things together while one inserts the screws is very helpful. Also, the glass top is very heavy, so I'd definitely recommend a second set of hands to hold it all steady. The desk itself feels very sturdy and I love the clean design. I have it in my living room, which is where we spend most of our time. I have been using my laptop while in a recliner and have been having neck issues, so I needed something I could use while maintaining decent posture. I didn't want a big bulky desk that would take up half the room and this looks beautiful. I've always loved maps, so that is the perfect touch and what drew me to the desk in the first place. I actually saw this desk at a local furniture store, and tried it with some desk chairs, and so I knew the height would be perfect for me. I've only used the desk once so far as I'm still waiting on my computer chair to arrive, so I have a cheap kitchen table chair behind it now. Even with that chair, it was a comfortable place to work.     • Clean and Stylish
Please note that I am writing this review not only because I am very pleased with the product, but also the service of the vendor. As far as the desk goes, I love it. It was simple to put together, looks very clean, modern and stylish. This desk houses my newer aluminum iMac, which makes me love it even more as they share the same color scheme and look like they were made for each other. Even with the big screen, keyboard, mouse and music speakers, there is still a good amount of space available. The only negative about the product I can find is that it does tend to show little smudges and whatnot rather easily, however, this is expected for me because I often eat at the desk while browsing. The upside to this is that with a few shots of Windex the table looks brand new in 10 seconds, so it's very easy to clean and maintain. simply put, It is absolutely the best computer desk I've ever owned. Now to the real reason I chose to write this review: customer service. When I initially received the desk, I couldn't wait to get it inside, unbox it and put it together. I was so happy, and then suddenly so sad and angered to see the desk had arrived damaged. I've been using Amazon for years and have never once had an issue with a damaged/broken item. There were several large chunks of the map, which is sort of almost like a poster that has been laminated/sealed to the bottom of the glass, missing, as well as one of the sockets that houses the left side legs had been broken off during the shipment as well. Upon requesting for an exchange through Amazon, I got my free UPS return shipping voucher, and my new replacement table was delivered to me with what must have been overnight shipping, and arrived in perfect condition. To sum up, the desk is not only exactly what I expected, but looks even better than I thought it would housing my iMac. Though I was initially very let down with the the first product I received, I was very impressed that the vendor made it right, and made it right very quickly. I recommend this desk! ... show more

    • Perfect except for Stupid Stickers
Desk is very nice and easy to assemble. Only problem are the stickers they put on one of the chrome legs. It took us longer to get them off than it did to set up the desk. Seriously, I don’t know what industrial strength adhesive they use but it sucks! Now that it’s set up I love it. While setting it up, not so much. At least the swear jar has a few more bucks. ... show more

    • Arrived broken
I wanted this desk so bad but it arrived at my house in about a million little pieces I'm sure from delivery. I wanted to cry. I spent so long searching for a desk only to get it and be disappointed that it was broken.

    • Design Loses Points in Execution
The desk is nice looking however there are some problems in its execution. The design is printed on the underside of the glass. I received a top where two of the four stand-offs were not affixed to it. They were clearly not affixed before the desk was packaged because the print from the image is completely missing in those areas. This could only happen if there was an issue with affixing the stand-offs to the underside of the desk top during manufacturing. I would say a little more QC is needed before product gets shipped out the manufacturer's door. I am handy so I was able to "fudge" the map color in one corner with spray paint and then reattach the standoffs with a good epoxy. The other corner is hidden by a desk lamp so I'll live with it for now. I will eventually replace the top with another piece of glass. I do like the base of the desk as it is an attractive design and roomy underneath where there are no impediments to knock knees against. The map is nice but the bottom fillers of each leg are cheap and are a chore to stick in. Hurt my hands pretty badly and returned it.
