I spent a good hour or more looking for the right mattress topper. I followed the directions. Let it puff up. I threw it in the dryer as well. It's very comfortable. Mine was new and did not have an odor as other ppl said. I haven't had to wash it yet. However I am very happy with my purchase so far. It is thick. Definitely not just a mattess pad. It's also has breathable fabric like I wanted. Not weird cold or hot gel stuff. Just a nice layer of comfort on my mattress.

Mattress topper arrived quickly. Vacuum sealed tightly. Immediately starts to poof up when opened. Package say is Needs to sit out several hours before use (says 48 hrs on Amazon) slightly scent so I know it’s new but not a heavy overpowering chemical Oder. The scent was gone by the next day when I went to put it on my bed. Really nice quality fabric. The edging detail looks elegant. I have a thick 14” mattress but it fit easily, plenty of room, very stretchy. I got this mattress topper because even though I have a “nice” mattress, I still have pain in my hips, back and legs, and trouble sleeping. This Topper adds several inches of fluff to the mattress without feeling bulky. (Sheets fit over it fine) I could immediately tell a difference. I’ve slept on it for several nights and yes, it makes a good difference. I feel much less pressure on my hips and back. Much Less pain. I am tossing and turning less. It is very comfortable to sleep on. It doesn’t feel hot either. Definitely recommend!! More affordable than a new mattress.

Before ordering this mattress topper I looked over and over again on the product page to see how thick the padding itself was. I never could find it, best guess was maybe 2 inches thick. Getting the mattress topper in and i find that the areas that holds the padding is two inches high, tho the padding inside doesn’t fill the space, so there is not 2 inches of total padding. Could be why the decided not to actually state how thick the padding was. We did fluff this in the dryer per the instructions, tho it didn’t do much good for making the padding any thicker. The shell is soft on the upper side, a bit stiff on the bottom side, I believe thats due to the water resistance, tho I’m not positive. The side wall package stays are thin, has plenty of space to old eve the thickest of mattresses. Ours is on a Sleep Number bed and it holds the mattress with a good bit of room left. The padding itself, the product page woos us with 3D and 7D filling, alternative down, and bamboo materials, tho laying down on this it feels like a squishy gel like substance. I don’t notice much difference sleeping on it than I did without it. It doesn’t keep me or my wife any cooler, it doesn’t provide much cushion at all, and it definitely doesn’t provide support like the product page states. The construction of this product does appear to be well made enough. Seams are tight, stitching is good. One issue we had upon arrival was a lot of small black dots in various areas of the mattress pad visible through the clear plastic cover. Didn’t like it, always weary of getting bed products and having the nasty bugs associated with them. Closer look and it wasn’t bugs, tho we never could really determine what they were.

This topper is amazing! We have a memory foam mattress. And it’s been ok. It this topper has been amazing. My husband was hesitant. But after putting it on he’s sold!!! He said “I love the topper! It’s so soft and comfy!” Lol. He’s a hard sale. So the fact that he loves it is crazy cool. He wants one for our guest room now so that any guests are happy and comfy!

I've got this to replace my current mattress topper that got deformed within a year. This is not as thick but very soft and comfortable. Doesn't shredd or deform, has adjustable bands for the corners and material feels fresh. I haven't wash it so I wouldn't know how it goes after that. Will update once I've done it.
