For a piece of furniture that is almost $1000 I expected better than this. I appreciate that I didn’t have to put anything together but the legs. But this is barely a step up from cheap Wayfair furniture that I’ve purchased in the past. It’s sturdy particleboard with wood laminate. Easily chipped in the back as I pulled off the plastic. But its the back corny not a huge deal. When I pull off the rest of the plastic however I noticed the doors are extremely crooked. I would’ve rather spent $300 at IKEA and put it together myself and saved myself a ton of money had i known this was going to be the product id receive. What really bothers me is that it came assembled and someone took so much care to wrap it in plastic and foam knowing full well that all the doors were crooked and still sold it SMH Update* customer service was quick to send me a new unit.. no issues with this one. they even offered to arrange for the pick up of the old one

The only assembly is attaching the legs, I had no trouble doing so, but you do need a second person to pick it up and put it on its feet. I have already received several compliments and it’s perfect for our space. I was able to keep all the cords hidden which is really nice. It’s under a 55 inch tv.

Pros: Appearance and quality are quite good. The stand shipped quickly and arrived undamaged. Cons: Apparently the manufacturer put zero thought into the stand's functionality. While there are eight separate interior compartments, only two cable pass-throughs (one each for the two top middle shelves) are provided. The compartments are otherwise completely separated from each other, making it nearly impossible to efficiently and cleanly connect more than two audio and/or video components. To make matters worse, the slats on the two center doors are too widely spaced, so much so that it's easy to see what's inside the cabinet at all times which (at least for me) defeats the design aesthetic. If you're just looking for something that looks nice and will help organize the mess in whatever room it goes into (while still allowing you to see half of said mess), this stand is an OK choice. If you're looking for something to properly organize your A/V gear, either run far away or prepare to get the hole saw out. For me, if I had to do it all over again, I wouldn't buy this stand - it has the potential to be a great piece of furniture but unfortunately it was designed/manufactured by clueless idiots.
