I have exactly 24 hours of use with this product so take this review for what it's worth. Service? Excellent. The seller called as expected and delivered early. The product was well wrapped and protected. Pros: I realize that I hadn't read the product information well enough because I was surprised that the legs were real wood (and beautifully stained). Each included customer picture showed the sectional sitting along a wall. I was concerned that it was an indication that the product was too weak to stand alone. I tend to place furniture in the center of the room and am pleased to say that this product stands firmly without needing to be braced. I so appreciate the photos, fellow verified buyers. They really helped me make the decision to buy. So glad I did. The jet black fabric is beautiful. It has a tuxedo finish and is just gorgeous. It is complimented by the nails head trim and looks far more expensive than it is. So far, the back is surprisingly strong with only two bolts holding down each section. There is no creaking with this product. I wouldn't advise trying to sit on one of the arms or the back of the sofa, however. The ottoman is HUGE! The size of the ottoman makes the sectional feel modular. The seats are not very deep, as with most sectionals, so when my grandson fell asleep on the sofa, I pushed the ottoman next to it and doubled the sleeping space. I placed the ottoman next to the chaise and nearly doubled its width as well as the length of the space from the back of the sofa to the front of the ottoman, it makes a huge corner. I use the length of the ottoman to make a second chaise opposite the real chaise. This will give cut down on the fight for the chaise on move mights! Using the length, the makeshift chaise is nearly the same length as the actual chaise. I have actually used the ottoman as a table as well. Love the flexibility of this product. The linking pins are included in the purchase. They connect the sofa and chaise. Even still there is a little slippage since the connection is not a tight one. It's not loose enough to worry about slipping through, but you may lose a few coins, here and there. Cons: Too soon to tell. So far, I can't think of one. Neutrals: The fabric is beautiful, but the color allows you to see every fallen crumb and since I have a furbaby, every dog hair shows as well. It does clean up easily. The fabric is not a natural fabric, as indicated in the description. At this price point, it wouldn't expect the fabric to be natural fiber. The fabric can be a little stiff. When putting it together, it is better to "dry fit" the pieces after you put the bolts in the sofa backs, to make sure you understand where everything goes. The directions aren't the worst, but they aren't that great, either. It is easy enough to figure out. ... show more

Beautiful absolutely beautiful! I wouldn’t say it’s black though it looks more charcoal to me but which is what I wanted anyway! It’s sturdy, firm, and comfortable! I love it! ******UPDATE****** 1yr later of having this couch I can definitely speak for it! As beautiful as this couch is.... it is the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on. The cushions did not last (they didn’t sink in, just aren’t firm at all) the cushions are literally flat... like I just sit on the couch and I instantly feel like I’m sitting on wood. This is coming from someone who travels for work so I’m hardly ever at home to just sit around on the couch all day! It is not kid or pet friendly whatsoever! You would think by it being dark it can easily hide spots! Nope... every single time I sit on my couch I see exactly what either has been spilled or pet hair! Even when I try to clean the spills up the fabric of the couch starts to tear apart, which creates that long long in the fabric that you’ll eventually have to cut off! As far as pet hair I’m constantly vacuum or using a lint brush. This just isn’t the go to couch and it is very short! So if you are y’all like my husband (6’3) this would be extremely uncomfortable because the back of the couch doesn’t support your full back! Just the lower half b/c the couch is so short! I’m 5’5 and the couch is still short to me! No back support and definitely no neck support! The couch was so horrible we gave it away for free! It just isn’t worth anything! If you buy this couch just use it for show & looks... this is definitely not something family friendly! ... show more

Love this couch for the price. Firm and that’s probably my favorite part. Super comfy and I fall asleep too easily sometimes. Easy to assemble except getting the cushion out of the bottom of ottoman where it’s stored for shipping. Sharp pieces and did not want to rip fabric and a very tight fit. The ottoman cushion is a bit larger than frame. Super stylish and great color. Overall I would purchase again especially for the price. ... show more

So we ultimately ended up returning this couch. It was very easy to assemble, and it did look nice but it was very uncomfortable. The cushions are so thin and short. I'm the type of person who likes to sit on a couch and want my feet to hang off. I'm only about 5'2 and my feet touched the floor. If you don't care about this then this wouldn't effect you. But if you do like big cushions like me then you will be disappointed. The cushions on the back of the couch did have Velcro which was nice but the ones on the bottom did not. At first this was okay to deal with but when you sit on the chaise the cushions moved around A LOT. I was constantly having to readjust them. Overall I would not recommend this couch. Absolutely NOT worth the money you're paying. Only gave it 1 star because of the assembly and the looks. ... show more
