    • Do not miss out on this wonderful drone!!
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
Review Image by Christopher
First off this drone is so much fun. Flying it safe is fun!! This drone is very easy to operate. Take your time. Use the beginners settings. This will allow the drone to not go very high or far at all until you are comfortable with it. It wasn’t very long until I turned it off and I got this drone up to 345 feet up in the air. I recommend getting an SD card when you purchase this drone. You do not want to miss the photo and video opportunity while practicing to use your drone. The drone records the video on the drone so that’s why the video has very little or no clipping to it and it’s so clear. I operate this drone with my iPhone 16 Pro and I have three batteries for the drone so I can fly for extended time with an obvious break to change the battery in 30-40 mins. The picture I took was just a screenshot while the drone is hovering at 273 feet up in the air looking at I 295 in Jacksonville, Florida. The video is recorded midday, so it’s as sunny as it could possibly be and look at that beautiful video. I am absolutely blown away that this is just a $200 drone ain’t no way. I love the controller. The joysticks make it so easy. Keep one thumb on each joystick and your left pointer finger will control the camera tilt. I am 44 years old and I feel like a little kid so excited over this thing. I excited go fly it every time both batteries are finally charged up again. I did buy a third battery for even longer flight time. You just have to come back and change out the battery and you can takeoff again. One thing I’m trying to practice doing is going between trees. It seems scary on video but this drone is super small and I’m flying between two trees 10 feet apart. I highly recommend taking your drone to a big open field to practice maneuvering it around before taking it up to 2 to 300 feet but up there you’re likely to not hit a thing.. at 200 feet. I am higher than the trees, billboards and those really crazy tall lights some cities have along the interstate exits. If you happen to be still reading this, thank you. Another thing that factor in my decision on purchasing this drone was the price. After purchasing my first drone which was less than $100 and I crashed it three times and I didn’t do a thing but try to launch it. I figured I will take a chance and buy a drone that was at least $200 because I figured it might be a better drone and I am right. I think my only one complaint on this drone is the amount of time it gives me the permission to take off. I realized it has to connect to several GPS satellites before it will give you permission to take off and that can take some time depending on your location. ... show more

    • great beginner drone for sure!!!
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
only had it up and running for a few hours,,had to turn beginner mode off or else it only goes a limited distance. seems to fly pretty easily. my first time flying one and it didn't seem very hard. i have alot of trees around so i just went up high and followed roads around my area. she really goes and it gets a little scary when you can't see it. but you have the camera to watch and as long as you know your area, you should be fine. i'm gonna have to get a fast charger, as on my phone charger cable, which is way better than store bought ones, it still takes like an 1 hour 45 min. to charge a battery. love this thing, guess i'll let you know more after i have had it awhile. ... show more

    • Customer service is awesome. Contacted regarding controller not working.
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
Title: Promising Features, But Controller Issues and contacted by customer service that is anything short of impressive in todays age. Was very impressed by the dedication and service to the customer by this company. Will buy my next drone from this company in the future! Review: I purchased the Potensic ATOM LT GPS Drone, hoping for a great entry-level drone experience. The compact size and features like the 2.5K camera, 4KM FPV transmission, and 80-minute flight time (with 2 batteries) were appealing. However, I couldn’t get the controller to work properly, which made it impossible to fly the drone. Pros: Excellent and responsive customer service. Lightweight and under 249g, so no FAA registration is needed. Foldable and portable design. Comes with useful features like Auto Return and GPS positioning for safe operation. Expansion kit included and long battery life with 2 batteries. Cons: Had some difficulty with controller connecting properly but customer service was excellent in helping to solve issues and shipped a new drone immediately, and proved that customer service is alive and well! Very impressed with the service and commitment to the customer. While the drone's specs are impressive for an entry-level model, It is an excellent drone and functions well! Rating: (5/5) due to prompt and excellent customer service. ... show more

    • Nice drone
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
This is a good drone for the price. Wind resistance is great. Picture and video quality is good. It goes about 2000 feet before losing signal and camera feed. No the 13000 feet as described. Definitely suggest as a beginner drone. The auto return is a little off. It doesn’t return to the exact same spot. Few feet away most times. I like the two batteries, about 30 minutes of play time for each one. The App is very user friendly. Wish the warnings and alerts were in just the corner and didn’t take up the entire screen. ... show more

    • As good or better than advertised
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
I've had several drones going back to the holy Stone hs100. This one is by far superior to all of the other ones I've had. Longer flight time, more responsive, circle flight, follow me, waypoint flying, return home, all work great.

    • Wow
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
Great drone but even better customer service. After my last review, they noticed I wasnt satisfied and reached out how they could make it better. After a couple of emails exchanges, we both ended up happy. I've flown the drone a couple of times and my view of it are changing, while it may not have the best camera, or go high or far, it will still bring joy to anyone who uses it as a beginner drone. It has many great features and the remote is super easy to use, you have to use your phone or if your like me get an adapter for a tablet and it even better. Battery is good, lasts as long as they claim under good outside conditions. Highly recommend their drone and products, thank you potensic for the great price and even better customer service. ... show more

    • Great DRONE
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
Everything is awesome and I love all the features. The only thing that was a let down. It did not come with a bag and the camera does not have protection. I would think they would include these two things. Long flight time. Each battery gives you 40 minutes on each battery, that is 80 minutes.

    • Fast and Fun
Edition: ATOM LT Expansion Kit
Its a lot of fun to fly around, especially in sport mode. The camera angle can be adjusted via the remote control too. The video that you see on your phone can be cast to a TV for big-screen view too ...(Chromecast/etc sold separately). Main thing is just keeping the altitude high enough to maintain line of sight between the remote control and the drone. It will return to your house automatically if the signal drops too, which seems to be a nice feature that i haven't experienced yet. I like to fly around RC aircraft too, so, this thing is super easy to fly, even for a noob. $200 well spent. ... show more
