The media could not be loaded. After reviewing many drones before making this purchase, the Potensic ATOM has the best value for the cost. I fly only for recreation and It is easy and fun to fly. Programming in beginner mode limit the distance and altitude to @ 95' allowing you to gain experience without worrying about losing the drone. The camera is very steady and both photos and videos are very good. The Fly More package is great. Charging batteries with the Fly More charger is convenience and fast. All three batteries plus the flight controller can be charged at the same time. Charging time is @ 90 minutes with each battery providing @ 30 minutes of flight time. I have worked as an independent insurance adjuster and this drone would have been a great tool when I was an adjuster 20 years ago. It would have saved me time and added to my personal safety on the job from not having to climb every roof for photos. ... show more

This drone is awesome. The video and photo quality is excellent, better than expected. Everything works as advertised, the app is stable, the gimbal works perfectly, etc. The latest version of the firmware seems to have solved the minor issues reported by others previously, as I've had zero of those issues. Range is very good, I have been able to fly it over 2 miles away without losing signal so far. Also the drone works just fine in cold weather, I've flown it extensively in temps in the low 20s through the mid 30s (F). Battery life is excellent, about as advertised, and cold weather doesn't seem to degrade it much. The drone hovers perfectly, is extremely stable, and is quite fast for something of its size. I've flown it in winds around 20mph, and the drone doesn't seem affected at all. I'm still experimenting with all the special features, but so far the waypoint and tracking features seem to work perfectly. The fly more package is a fantastic value. 3 batteries, charger which charges all 3 at the same time, nice storage case, and spare parts included. Also the charger can charge all three batteries in 1.5 hours or less, and it can charge the controller at the same time as the three batteries. I bought this because it is NOT a DJI, and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat! NO geofencing, NO altitude limit, NO remote ID required (under 250g). It will be interesting to see what Potensic comes out with next, but they certainly hit a home run with this one! ... show more

    • First drone, one week in, amazing little device

This is the first drone I've ever owned. I haven't even ever bought a Walmart $50 one. Literally this is my first one... So here goes. I watched about an hour long review prior to running the drone so I was well equipped going in. That said, I still flew it into a tree within five minutes of trying it because I was trying to rotate the drone... and flew it to the left instead. Since then though, I haven't had much of a hitch. Pros: - Easy to setup, fly, take video and still shots, etc. Awesome device. - The lost signal return, and low battery return, are very important and work great. The device even lets you pick the height that it should fly to before it begins to return home...cool! - Camera on the SD card is stellar, while your flying it's hard to tell how good while you watch on your device, but when it's uploaded to the CPU it's pretty amazing. - The app is very handy. It's gives you tips while you learn and even after. It's perfect for keeping you well informed where you learn and fly the device... - I have been sooooooo impressed with the battery life.... I can easily fly for an hour and a half or so, and then by the time that's over, I could have recharged the first two batteries in my house....and keep on going. The app tells you how much better power is left in a percentage, and also in number of minutes and seconds...so cool. Full disclosure, I did pay the100 bucks for the extra batteries fly more edition. Cons: - WiFi and power lines definitely affect the signal between the drone and controller... something to be aware of for sure.... I found out the hard way and upset my neighbor when it hovered over his house for 5 minutes while I figured this out😭. I'm sure thiss is the same for all drones btw🤷♂️. - It's made in china.... I wish we had good American companies that made good drones. Oh well ... show more
