I have been flying RC helicopters for over 20 years and drones for over 10 years. Recently my original DJI Mavik died after nearly 10 years of faithful service. I went on a quest to find the best drone in the under 249 grams category. I did not want to bother with registering and licensing. This drone fits every category very nicely. Price point, advanced features, quality, flight characteristics and fluidity of controls, ease of use and easy connectivity. I believe anyone would do well with this drone from beginner to advanced. The pictures are high quality as is the video. The only place it falls a little short is the speed of flight. This is definitely not a deal breaker for me as I am not chasing cars or motorcycles. I mainly use it for construction documentation and personal photography. Don't let the price fool you this drone is great in the wind and comes with 3 batteries so you get plenty of flight time. It does not have object avoidance system, which I do not want because I get close to things on purpose. If you are looking for a small travel drone that is packed with features and quality at an affordable price, this one is worth every penny! The pictures below are in standard hi-res mode. So fun! I’ve never flown a drone before but had no problem navigating this one. Great quality photos/video. Compared to other drones, it’s also very affordable. One battery lasts 15 or so minutes, which is all I ever need to fly.

I appreciate the easy read instructions. The drine is lightweight, sleek, modern looking and very cool. The controller feels amazing and perfect for any size hand to reach controls. The fly more package is a must and worth the investment (trust me on this). You will enjoy flying this drone that you want to continue for as long as possible. The battery life is very good and with three batteries so much better. The performance is so impressive. It has more than enough power and speed than you expect from a drone at this price point. You will not find any other that compare unless you spend at least double the cost. The picture quality is crisp, clear and steady thanks the the 3 point gimble that keeps pictures and videos stabilized. Also, get the controller strap to ensure you keep it off the floor or damage and it is essential for longer flights too. If you want a drone that is so easy to use and master. This drone has all the power and cool features that other drones that cost more than double might or might not have. This is a very nice and affordable drone. I bought it because I was not able to obtain a DJI drone for a reasonable price at the time due to the shortage. I am pleasantly surprised with this unit. For the price, you get the extra batteries and multi-charger for the same price as you'd usually pay for just the base drone package with DJI. The controller is pretty decent, and fits my phone easily. You could potentially mount a tablet with some creative use of mounting brackets. Feature and performance wise, I would say this drone compares very closely with the DJI Mini 2.the reason for that is like the Mini 2, this drone only has proximity sensors on the bottom. So unfortunately you don't get collision prevention that many more advanced DJI drones have. This is the only reason I removed a star. Everything else about this drone is great and still for the price I would buy another. The software for the drone is easy to use, and pretty intuitive. Not quite as polished as the DJI app but it doesn't make a huge difference to me and I haven't had any problems with it. Flight performance is great. It might be slightly more sensitive to windy conditions, but I was able to fly in relatively high winds without to much trouble. The video quality is also quite good honestly. It's definitely good enough for cinematic use. Overall for the price I think this drone performs well enough for first time flyers to have a good experience without spending a small fortune.
