Here is my two cents on Potensic. I had my hopes up for this drone. It was a lot of bang for the bucks o I took a chance. I ordered the Atom 2 fly more package. Well, when it arrived I was very impressed. It seemed very well built. It really looded good for another mini drone. I charged it up, which didn't take to long in their propriatory charger. The bag was as expected. But the controller was something different. Dog bone style. Your monitor goes in between the handles. Controlls were a little backwards, but can be changed. Time for the first flight. This little drone was very impressive. Liftoff it went straight up and hovered tightly. I flew it around and really started to like this one. Videoing in night mode is great. It had all of the bells and whistles. It flew very nice. It takes very good pictures and videos. After several days the only thing that botherd me was no nd filters. Yes, you could use ones made for other drones, but to me they never really fit right. But they have fixed that now if you can get your hands on one. So here I have an excellent drone. I flew it almost every day waiting for it to fall apart. No such thing. Even after a few "hard landings" the drone performed great. Untill.....I really goofed. I broke an arm and the camera gimbal was all out of wack. So I get intouch with Potensic. Things seemed to go slow, but they are across the world and are working when I am in bed. And boy am I glad that I bought the extended warrenty that they offer. It took about two weeks because they would ask for something and I would not get that until the morning. By the time that I replyed, it was all ready the next morning before I would get anotyer reply back. BUT, they did an outstanding Job at getting me a new drone once everything they asked me to do failed. So GREAT job for making a fantastic little drone. And GREAT job on the warranty work, even if it took a little time. I am very impressed, and I think anyone ordering the Atom 2 will be too. Sorry for dragging it out so long, but I am very impressed with this company and it's drones. Come on ND filter!

I bought this whole combo kit when it was only $441.99 worth every penny I’ve had drones in the past this is by far not my first drone, but has way more granular features than most drones at this price point and more importantly, it has more features than I could ever ask for including a full screen, dedicated remote controller if you’re looking to get the drone world I highly recommend this drone in particular. It’s so good that I’ve been able to seamlessly integrated into my YouTube channel at 4K30 frames a second which more than good enough considering most movies only shoot at 4K 24 frames a second for cinematic Quality there’s plenty of accessories available for this drone, including CPL filters and other accessories too many to list . I’ve had no problem flying the drone and strong winds and it’s extremely fun and intuitive not to mention you can even set a whole passport to fly on its own and have it come back if that’s how you prefer to fly .

Image Quality & Use Cases: Despite its accessible price point, the Atom 2 delivers where it counts: imaging. The quality of both photos and videos is sharp and clear. I've personally captured stunning 30-meter-high neighborhood vistas. This drone is really cool. I fly a DJI Mini 3 with my job, but I’ve been wanting to buy a drone for personal use. I haven’t been a big fan of DJI with the amount of disconnection I have mid-flight and mid-air, and I did not want that for my personal flying. I did a lot of research and determined to try out the Atom 2 based on the things I’ve read online, and I’m glad I did. So far this drone is very reliable. Photos are incredible, video is great.. flight time is definitely 30 minutes per battery. The remote control is very nice and connects quickly and reliably once you get it set up. My only complaint is set up was a little complicated. My drone came with zero instructions or user manual. Overall, this is the best drone out there for the money, if you ask me. I appreciate how reliable it is to fly it and haven’t experienced disconnection issues so far.

First off, in my opinion, 4-stars is not a bad review. It just means there is always room for improvement! I'm going to start with this......For many people, the Potensic Atom 2 might be a DJI-killer as far as >250 gram drones are concerned. Regardless of that summary, there ARE places where the DJI mini 4k accel. Okay. Potensic Atom 2. The handling is pretty responsive there is virtually and perceptible latency and the drone appropriately moves omni-directionally according to the joysticks and their potentiometers. You can fly way higher than you're legally allowed to and anything above 800 M is almost guaranteed to be to windy and your drone will fall out of the sky. Assembly wise, its very similar to any other mini-drone i've owned. (connect phone and remote, screw-on joysticks, battery in the drone, turn on and take off. Speed wise, the DJI mini 4k is faster. I come in around 30-32 MPH tops in sport-mode with the ATOM and can get 47 MPH out of a tail-wind with the mini 4k. Camera-wise, the Atom 2 is far-superior in both photo/video mode than the 4K, but the 4K has a more stable gimble in high-wind/high/speed scenarios. The Atom 2 also has a pretty decent night-vision mode and the 4k does not and has a pretty grainy appearance at night. Range-wise this thing is impressive. I hit 2+ miles at one point on some Kentucky-plains with sporadic large trees. I still had 4 bars most of the time. It will take some more time and side by side comparison to see whether it beats the mini 4k here but my instinct says it absolutely will. Now here is where the Potensic Atom 2 accels hands-down. The availability of the PTD-1 remote. This guy is comfortable, the screen is huge and high resolution. It holds a charge. Best of all, no assembly required. No more worrying if you're going to snap your only drone-cable between the remote and phone. No worry about dropping it while you assemble an awkward spring-loaded contraption. Just pick up the thing and fly with high-resolution. It even has an additional SD card slot, independent of the drone, for extra storage. The antennas are very sleek and adjustable. This thing just kills. To buy it standalone is $275, but the price is much more reasonable and absorbed into the package if you buy the "fly more kit with PTD-1 remote". In addition to passing up the 4k with remote, this thing just absolutely passes it up as well with the battery charger. The charging is parallel (simultaneous charging of all 3 batteries). All in all I also feel like I get 2-4 more minutes per battery per flight, which is actually a noticeably different experience. I won't bash DJI, because they have a huge product line with products that far exceed this. In the mini-drone world though, i'm almost inclined to say Potensic is a DJI killer. It has all the features that matter. Excellent charging (your literal fuel to the experience), excellent remote, nightvision capable. It also doesn't have as strict of geofencing and general safety features. I will say the forced return-to-home on the potensic is more difficult to cancel than it is on the DJI. The areas where the DJI surpasses it are gimble-stabilization and flight speed in sport-mode. If you are into recreation get the Atom 2. Because of its charger, you can literally fly until your remote or phone dies as long as you alternate your spent batteries back into the charger. It might also be a better choice for entry-level real-estate photography because the Atom 2 has true-vertical-shooting. For me, the choice is hands-down but opinions and mileage may vary.

I have had a number of camera drones but can say this is the beast by far! The new PTD 1 control screen is excellent and actually allows you to see what is going on, while also offering smooth and easy control - This Fly More Combo kit includes everything you need right out of the box! (NOTE: you will need to provide your own mico SD card) This thing is a dream to fly and is packed full of features! I live on the coast and so far have had it five miles over the bay at 300 feet with zero issues! RC still had signal, video was spot on and return to 'Home' brought it back within inches from where it took off! Pictures/videos are beyond excellent considering the drone price. The drone is well constructed and should hold up well!

The Potensic Atom 2 is a great drone to play with, offering an impressive set of features that put it surprisingly close to more expensive models. It’s easy to use, very stable, and handles strong winds better than expected for its price range. It does lack obstacle-avoidance sensors, and although waypoint navigation has been promised for a long time, the feature is still not available. Even so, overall performance is solid. Video and photo quality are very good, with only occasional struggles in extreme high-contrast scenes where HDR has trouble balancing highlights and shadows. I own DJI and Hubsan drones, and this budget-friendly model isn’t far behind mid-range options from those brands. It also comes with a nice carrying bag at no extra cost, which fits the drone and accessories comfortably. Customer support outside China, the US, and some EU countries is limited or nonexistent, but spare parts are generally easy to find—except for batteries. For that reason, the Fly More Combo is strongly recommended. If Potensic finally adds waypoint functionality, the Atom 2 would easily be a 5-star drone based on its price-to-quality ratio. I definitely recommend both the drone and the brand. Firmware updates are frequent and often add new features, something that’s not always common with other makers. The Fly More Combo is frequently available for around $399 or even less, making it an excellent value.
