  • Kitty stamp of approval!
These are much bigger than I was expecting them to be but that has not dissuaded my cats at all! Some just kind of ignore them and one is particularly obsessed with the flamingo, and it is stinking ADORABLE to watch her carry a giant pink toy around, kick at it, bite it, etc. Can't explain it, just so cute. They do crinkle but not a ton - one of my cats loves crinkly toys but isn't super interested in these. Likewise, they do seem to have catnip in them, but not an overwhelming amount; all of my cats LOVE catnip but some just aren't super interested, which tells me there's not a ton. Not a problem, though - they still get plenty of love. ... show more

  • Right out of the box
Right out of the box this was a favorite for my cat. After the first couple of days, she was less interested in them, but I chalk it up to cat moodiness.

  • Cat's go crazy for this!
This is by far the most potent catnip I've experienced! I could literally smell it as I opened the plastic bag that the two toy birds were in. Now, Where do I buy this catnip??? I uploaded several pictures of my cats that were not even near me when I opened the box and both came right to my lap and wanted to rub their cheeks on it. Then the claws came out and they began grabbing the bird and I chose to toss it to the ground for my safety and they both went for it so I tossed them both and they were happy for quite a while. I don't know how long the potency of the catnip will last but it sure is powerful now. I've got three different brands of catnip and none of them really do what these birds do for my kitties. As for the quality of the product, the birds are made very well and with my kitties grabbing with front claws, chewing with their teeth while kicking with their powerful back claws, the birds are still like new. I highly recommend these Potaroma Catnip Cat Toys and the price is for TWO birds toys!!! ... show more

  • obsessed
I tried to get a photo but between a black cat, black bird toy, and the cat going insane, no clear photo was able to be taken for amazon. Enjoy the blurr attached. My cat sometimes gets the zoomies, but generally is a chill, sleepy boy. Insert this toy. After biting, scratching, clawing, rubbing against, he carried this bird all around the house. He's being so funny, rolling over on his back and whacking the bird around. Safe to say the cat loves this bird. Only problem? My dogs keep trying to steal the bird from the cat. While the internet seems to say it isn't toxic for dogs, it doesn't have the same effects on dogs. I got it for the cat so I monitor the play to make sure the dogs don't steal it from the cat. Also, just as humans get used to smells and they no longer have the same effect on us, cats get used to smells. After about an hour or when the cat leaves the toy alone, I put it away until the next time, so that he continues to get enjoyment out of it, rather than it always being around. I'm glad to have another toy for mental enrichment for my little predator! ... show more

  • Our cats give two paws up
Well, the kitties love them. We haven't used them a lot yet, but our cats were very interested in them right out of the box. The birds appear well-made and look like they can stand up to some abuse. At the time we ordered these, they were $9.98. A bit more than what you could spend for some cat nip toys in the big box stores, but these appear a bit bigger and better made. Decent value for the cost! ... show more

  • Cats went crazy for these!
My cats LOVE these stuffed birds. They started sniffing around as soon as I took them out of the package and once I tossed the toy to them, they went bananas. I wish I had more as they clearly would've each preferred to have their own (whoever had it in their possession pretty much claimed ownership of it as best they could). After a little while I went to pick the bird up and it was soaking wet. Kinda gross to touch, but apparently they licked the toy extensively. I also found a mysterious clear puddle of fluid by the bird which I can only assume was drool. There's no other explanation for it. I found that to be strange as I've never seen such a thing in all my years of cat ownership. At any rate, the toy kept them engaged for quite a while. As is typical with cats, they eventually lost interest and haven't really played with it since, but I'm hoping that once I squeeze it a bit to get the catnip to give off a scent, they will have renewed interest in it. ... show more

  • I love these!!
These are very cute cat toys, but that is not what makes them so great. I have 4 cats, and all 4 love playing with these for different reasons. One cat loves kicker style cat toys, these work for him. One loves chewing on plastic (if you have one of these cats, you know you can't stop them), he loves these because they make a crinkling sound that sounds just like the plastic. My other two cats love to really attack their toys, and sometimes carry them off, thse aren't too big to carry and they stand up to all the kicking, biting and clawing. And when they are all done, sometimes I see them asleep with them, holding them like they were their favorite plushie. ... show more

  • My picky cats love it
My most recent cat is a cuddle bug but is notably bad at playing with toys. Ive bought him those little cat nip toys from Walmart and Target and he has shown little interest in them. I bought these hoping he would play with them but at the very least his older sister would take full advantage of them. When I took them out of the box he perked up and wanted to see what I was doing. These are larger than your average cat toy which he liked. he started to poke them which was a start. Does he play with it? not really he paws at them then fall asleep on them but its better than nothing. My other cat loves them and prefers them over most of her toys. ... show more
