If your cat has issues chewing wires or attacking your jacket strings- this is the best toy to combat your cat's itch to destroy! My cat bunny kicks this rope all day long- I've had it for a few weeks and despite how rough he is on it, it's still as good as new. Highly recommend this product- you might be thinking it's a little out there for a cat toy, but trust me, it's worth a try!

Ordered three new toys for my cat - who generally is not interested in anything. Of the three, this one actually was a hit. I was surprised, frankly. But once i took one of the three ropes out he went nuts. Rubbed against it, chewed on it, cuddled with it.... shocking. Now, you do in fact have to keep the ropes in the zip bag with the little pouch of whatever that stuff is.... I think it refreshes the smell. Anyway, this was a hit with my ginger boy.

I don't know if it's the gall fruit or the catnip, but my cat started rubbing & biting on them as soon as I pulled them out of the bag. It takes him several weeks to decide if he actually likes a toy enough to play with it, so jury's still out; but I love the colors; & as cat toys go, these are pretty aesthetic. I wish they had some kind of shape but also know wires wouldn't be safe. 5 stars for helping me find out the lil guy likes gall fruit, & for not being ugly.

So my cats LOVE the gall fruit dangly, but not really interested in the rope part... The rope is pretty thick and durable, and I can see that it was made to last, if my cats were even the slightest bit interested in chewing on it. I have tried to shape it, but it doesn't do that, it just stays in the same somewhat bent shape. As for the colors, like most pet toys those are for the people, not the pets. If they wanted to appeal to cats more, color them blue and bright green with a long soak in liquid catnip. As they are, the gall fruits a hit, and I'll probably be buying some of that, but the toys, not so much.

These ropes come in a cute box, with a little pamphlet about the company and a little card about reviews, which basically offers cashback for a 5 star tik tok review (it had the logo). Seems a bit iffy to me, but I liked my cats' reactions to the ropes so much I decided to not dock a star. Inside the box, the ropes are sealed in a plastic bag with a very strong smelling sachet of what I believe is some type of catnip. The instructions on the box recommend sealing the ropes in the bag every once in a while so they retain their catnip smell. All my cats went crazy once I opened the bag and started doling out ropes for them to play with. Fair warning, some feline fisticuffs may ensue over the ropes if you have multiple cats like me. They rubbed all over, chewed on, and batted the ropes around for about 20 minutes before I think they wore themselves out and they are now all taking naps. This makes me very happy, as it gives me some time to get things done without feline interference. They're also sleeping happily, which is wonderful. I also hope the ropes cleaned their teeth a bit, as the chewing should help keep their teeth healthy. Odd card aside, I would highly recommend these for your cats, especially if you follow the instructions and keep them steeped in catnip. They are definitely more than worth the price.
